Was a little concerned about the velcro scratching the club over time so I just cut the tabs off. The headcovers are secure enough without them. I pulled the 4 iron out the bag last time out and took 2 practice swings before realised I hadn't taken the cover off so they don't seem as if they'll fall off easily without the velcro.
