Then I apply to face. **Q: Is porcelain or shell ivory lighter? I don't get a lot of sun** A: I use cover girl bisque ivory powder over this. I use shell ivory...which I can't believe fir first time matches my skin exactly. I have light to medium skin with hint of rosiness in my face. Which I hate. This coverage is definitely lighter skin...lIke a sand color without any red tone or yellow tone. SHELL IVORY = SAND COLOR. THEY HAVE MATTE OR DEWY LUMINEUX VERSION. I am currently using the dewy version...not matte. It seems a bit heavy..but the magic is how u apply. Buy one of those silicone tools to spread foundation. Dont use sponges. U waste alot! On my chin..I put 3 dots across chin. With silicone spatula spreader tool I can lightly spread it from chin up to above lips and right below eyes. A little goes a long way and...it stays on all day! I think it's slightly water proof. It doesn't smear off when I sweat. My skin tends to be dry. I'm 50. It makes my skin very sift..perhaps oil in it? Might be too much if your young and have oily skin. God for mid range oily to dry skin or dry skin. **Q: Which is less yellow/orange, golden beige or bronze beige?** A: Bronze beige **Q: Is this matte or dewy?** A: It’s matte!
