Air Lift Air Shock Controller Air Compressor and Pressure Gauge - 25804

I bought this as a set for a 2017 Ram 1500. I was towing a heavy trailer and did not like the squat the truck had. The installation was very straightforward and I found some tips on you tube to make it even easier. It came with everything needed from mounting hardware to the length of hose. I ran it into my center console. Take your time with the install, don't rush it and you'll be very happy. The unit is very reliable. I'm in Florida with lots of rain, deep puddles, dust and dirt. I do not operate the pump unless I'm in a dry spot with clean air and I have had zero problems. I've had it installed for several months now and I couldn't be happier. If your in a very dusty area I would recommend putting a pre filter over the entire unit, the same ones used for a oiled cold air filter would work perfectly. The only thing I added that did not come with the kit was a wire protector sleeve. I used it to cover the air hose everywhere underneath the chassis. The hose is well built but I know there's going to be bumps and vibration so I used the sleeve to mitigate any friction damage. The squat was completely gone even with a max load. However... Keep in mind this will not take the place of a load leveler. The 1,000 lbs provided by these bags only helps the downward weight in the rear. Your front will still lift up. For heavy gear in the truck bed, or helping with squat from a regular load tow this is your answer. If your heavy hauling over longer distance I would say this is a nice compliment to a load leveling setup. The bags require a minimum pressure of 5 psi at all times. This locks them in place and keeps them from chaffing on the coil springs. This minimum 5 psi changed the ride feel of my truck when it's empty, the best way to describe it is that it went from feeling like a 1500 to a 2500 when going over bumps. Some of your cushy car-ride like experience in the 1500's will be gone, but you have the feel of a heavier duty truck. This particular kit read like it was actually intended for a air shock system, but it works perfectly fine for my two full size airbags. The pump doesn't run longer than 30 seconds to go from zero to max psi. Hope this helps!

I purchased the Air Lift unit with a set of Monroe Max Air shocks as suggested by Amazon. My vehicle is a resto-mod 1956 Willys Wagon. I had purchased new leaf springs but they were a bit soft for what I needed. This air shock and compressor set up gives me the ability to stiffen up and raise the rear of my wagon when carrying heavy loads and lower and soften the shocks when I want a softer ride. The installation was pretty straight forward. I suggest that you have a pretty good level of experience to do this job. It is not really hard but you have to understand how to remove and install shock absorbers, wire circuts and install guages. When you are installing the air lines be sure to use a tube cutter or a razor blade to make very straight and clean cuts to avoid leaks. Once it is set up you can inflate and deflate the shocks from inside your car. Since they are air shocks and not the larger air bags they inflate quickly. Together these make a great kit that allows the user to have adjustable shock absorbers controlled from inside the vehicle.

This is a pretty nice kit, it has everything you need to get it installed in your ride. I put this on a 2004 suburban with Airlift 1000 air springs. My only complaint is that the gauge is 10-200 psi. The air bags only take 35 psi when loaded and only 5 psi when not loaded. I knew that when I bought the kit but I wish they had a kit with a gauge that had a lower psi range that went down to zero. I was able to mount the gage in my glove box and the compressor under the middle row seat. It turned out clean and works as desired. Nice to have air whenever and wherever you need it. FYI it took me about 6 hours to install this kit and air springs. It could easily be done in 2-3 hours or less if you were less particular about routing and location of the compressor and gauge.

Works great to haul travel trailer. Gets the truck leveled and riding properly. 5lbs in the line unloaded helps stabilize the rear of my Ram 2500. Only issue was they need to include one more T-Coupler to mate the compressor with the gauge and bags. I had to buy a separate T to run the line to the dash gauge. Easy install, take your time. Compressor is loud when in use, but it’s not enough to annoy anyone else.

Great product with really good support. Normally you wouldn't need support but I had an issue related to my vehicle, not their product. They helped solve the issue by offering a larger spacer for my Ford Explorer spring. I traded in my 2022 Explorer which had their Airlift system that I installed. I just had the exact same system with the larger spacers installed on my 2025 Explorer. Don't expect any issues but am grateful for their support.

Easy to install, and fills rear bags fine. I did have an issue with 2 separate gauges out of the box. It says not to tamper but after taking off fitting from back of gauge, it appeared some sort of grease or lubricant was blocking off the small orifice hole for the air to travel to the gauge. Once cleaned it worked fine. I'm guessing assembly worker may have applied to much maybe when slipping on gauge assembly hose fittings. All good now
