Must trim for roof to lower in place
If you don’t trim it and just shove it in your roof, then your roof will be slightly raised and your door will have a gap above the windows and screwing the roof down with the Phillips screws by your back windows to the frame of the jeep is hard also. You could try heating up the rubber with a hair dryer but it still is too fat to wedge in your roof without causing it to be slightly raised. Just respect to sand away some rubber to get the roof to sit flat. To install it: the L or R faces the sky, and the smooth part of the curve faces the sky with the 3 wavy parts under the curve faces the ground. Then shove the smooth part of the curve up into the roof, and then you’ll see the 3 wavy parts get lowered down onto your window frame. The white wax paper goes vertically up and down behind the windshield lip
