1.5oz was the perfect size for a pint and very easy to use. Previously, I have been using an Ikea spoon to scoop my ice cream from the haagen dazs pints and it was so painful to use. This scoop made my life a lot easier and allowed me to scoop out the portions that I want.

the handle balances perfectly in the hand and scooping ice cream is a breeze. I decided on the 1.5 oz size mainly because I often have ice cream in smaller pint containers and two scoops provide a perfect-sized portion. Hand wash only and this thing should last a lifetime. Pros: ☺ Ergonomics ☺ Ice cream doesn’t stick ☺ Ease of cleaning Cons: ☺ None that I have noticed. Overall: Excellent little ice cream scoop... Highly Recommended

Used it heaps since getting it. Works really well. Just be careful where and what it is stored with as it is easily damaged by other hard utensils. I had a can opener damage the edge of the scoop. Not the cheapest but would buy again.

As per another reviewer I got the smaller scoop as I use small ice cream tubs. Fits and scoops perfectly and very easy to use. I also tried it on watermelon and it made really neat curled balls. Frozen they looked great in wine glasses at a party. Great scoop!
