A good controller to start out with! Watch a tutorial if you don't know what you are doing.
The media could not be loaded. I had bought a couple of lights and had been using them on auto but wanted to start controlling them. Having zero frame of reference, I watched a couple of youtube videos on DMX controllers to figure out how to program the channels to connect with the controller. Once I did that it was alot of fun! Probably worth finding/printing the manuals for the lights you have so you can better understand what each channel does. I'm still trying to figure out how to do chases/scenes (the directions are translated from Chinese I'm pretty sure and challenging to implement). Otherwise, this is an enjoyable and fairly inexpensive way to start out if you are doing lighting for fun or for DJing.

Great DMX board fir the money
This is a fantastic DMX board for the money. Especially for someone just starting out with learning DMX and getting their feet wet. Its very well built and solid. The sliders work well and are smooth. The instructions were written well. Overall ive been very happy with it.

Surprising solid for the price
The media could not be loaded. Like many other reviews, there is a learning curve to using this DMX especially if you’re new at it and I am but it really works great and has been fun learning how to use. The unit is really solid, I expected something kind of flimsy but that was not the case. I am running eight devices right now but plan on adding 3 more. Watch YouTube videos on how to use a DMX 512 because they all basically work the same.

This thing is horrible
I have had this for over a year now and i guess i will do a quick review. Don't waste your time and money on this thing. If you hook up more than 2 lights, forget it. You won't get anything to work very well without moving the sliders a million times. Just go with a high end unit.

Great controller to learn on!
This was my first dmx controller and now that I've figured it out is pretty easy to use! The build quality is obviously not as good as the big name brand ones but it's 1/3 the price so it's expected. Quite happy with my purchase. I set it up to control 2 ADJ bars, 2 stellar labs PARs, 2 swarm fx, and 2 different Chauvet lasers. I used it for the first time for a gig last night and I'm definitely happy with my purchase for the price!
