Just Buy It, You Can Not Go Wrong!
This Anker USB to Ethernet Adapter is gold. I've purchased about seven of these as they are of very high quality and do what they are supposed to do. I have one or two of these for all of my computers and laptops that do not have an ethernet port. Additionally, these adapters work at the full specified speed on my one gigabit per second ethernet links, there are not any slow downs. I have never, ever had any technical issues with these adapters, and they are of very high quality and solidly built. You can not go wrong by purchasing this ethernet adapter.

Works brilliantly with Steam Deck!
I bought this specifically for a Valve Steam Deck. I recently got a gigabit fiber connection and wanted to take full advantage of it when downloading games on the Deck. I took a gamble on this adapter knowing that Linux generally has incredible driver support without much, if any, configuring. I installed it into the Steam Deck's USB-C port, hooked the other end up to my network switch, and the Steam Deck instantly registered a new wired connection. I didn't even have to go into "Desktop Mode" for it; it all worked flawlessly in the "Gaming Mode". I downloaded a 15GB game in about 3 minutes with the Deck maxing out at 880Mbps. The device itself seems well built with a braided cable and gray anodized aluminum enclosures on each end. It's small and compact so it'll fit nicely in the Steam Deck case's little pouch or in that drawer that every house has that's full of cables, adapters, and dongles. It seems as though it's good value for money as well, like every Anker product I've purchased, but time will tell if something goes screwy down the line.

Worked Great !
Finaly put away the old desktop Had space on the desk for my laptop. Had a wired ethernet connection with Fios Gigabit sitting there now. I'm using an HP Envy about a year-old running Windows 11. Before on WiFi I was getting 605 down and 296 up. Simply plugged in Anker USB-C to ethernet and it immediately worked. Speed now is 750 down and 905 up. So, it did make a substantial difference from a WiFi connection. Giving it 5 stars for its simplicity and effectiveness.

Anker needs more respect
I personally do not think that Anker gets enough credit from the Apple user community. Case in point, I have bought numerous ethernet adaptors for my iPhone and all - read ALL of them fail after some time. Anker to the rescue! I use my iPhone like an iPod touch. There are apps that force me to use an iPhone like the Firewalla app. I have to use that app because I have to tightly control what URLs my phone has access to. I use my iPhone for crypto, banking and other critical services. I can’t use WiFi or cellular so ethernet is the only way. My entire house is ethernet only. I have to maintain my access. The ethernet adaptors get hot. The plastic ones are not going to last - the wiring must be cheap. They can’t take the heat during extended use. Also, iOS doesn’t always know if an ethernet adaptor is connected. Even the Belkin adaptors fail on those front. My Anker adaptors always get recognized, always work and don’t overheat. The housing is metal and they are very durable. The cable and connections are very good quality. I own several and rely on them solely now for my ethernet connections for my iPhone.

May not last long
This product worked great when it worked, purchased in 2024 and now it is no longer working not recognized by the computer. I used this device in the field plugging and unplugging and may have worn out

Delighted with my new adapter from ANKER. I had a different adapter for years, but it didn’t always work and was a bit clunky - so I’m SO glad I upgraded to this new ANKER adapter. Its a beautiful sleek flexible design, in a lovely stylish grey colour too. It works brilliantly, and I just wish I had bought this sooner. It’s a brilliant fit and exactly the neat small sise I wanted, it’s great value for money (even if it were more expensive, I still would have bought it, as I love ANKER and really trust their products), and very easy to use to - you just plug in and go. I’m so happy ANKER offer this adapter - I love their portable charger products (I have bought at least 8 of them over the years!) so its great to see they have other useful great products in their portfolio. Delighted with my purchase!
