I know that usually serrapeptase has to be taken with an enteric coating so that the stomach acid doesn’t break it down too soon before it has time to work on your body. But I HATE taking pills because I’ve always felt like I’d choke, even with gulping water. So I figured I’d give this a try. I’m huge on trying to eliminate any placebo effects when I’m starting a new supplement. Or in this case, a new form of taking the supplement (I’ve taken capsules in the past). So I often times take them and don’t look for any immediate changes or results. I just go on about my day and at some point I’ll feel that something is different in how I feel and I know it’s whatever I took an hour or so ago. For background purposes, I have some old lingering injuries from football that I nerve got the proper treatment for and ever since then I’ve been on a personal journey of self healing. I have a lot of built up scar tissue in my hamstring from pulling it repeatedly in practice, games, and 7 on 7 tournaments. This liquid form of serra didn’t take long to make the scar tissue in my leg feel better. I felt less tugging and snagging of the scar tissue on my regular muscle tissue. It also began to feel a bit softer and more supple. Essentially, the mobility in the leg had gotten better and I’ve noticed better functionality and movement. It’s strange because I’ve only been taking this supp for a few days now but I feel a noticeable difference that I didn’t get as quickly when taking the capsule form of Serra. So whatever formula this is is definitely strong. The one thing I don’t like about this product is the flavor. This crap is so nasty lol. I've taken it twice now and I do notice a difference within 30 minutes or an hour with my lady cramps being better and my over all pain being less so it's good as a pain relief med. It's liquid so it's not hard to swallow which is nice. However, it tastes sooooo bad. And the flavor in your mouth doesn't go away ever. It's got this bitter nasty twang or something that is quite horrible. Everything you eat, drink, or smell afterwards will be tainted with this for over 24 hours. So I decided to mix with orange juice. Idk if it will decrease it's effectiveness or anything but at least I don't taste it. I only taste the orange juice. The pain relief seemed to be the same but I'm hoping to get this to help a cyst I have on my ovary and possibly help with my endometriosis. Added benefit of helping with my period pain. My mother took some last night (mixed with orange juice because I love my mother too much to expose her to that kinda torture). She said very quickly that her back and neck wasn't hurting anymore and it had been hurting for days. So I don't think it's a placebo effect kinda thing.
