Fantastic!
I have been using Philips Crystal Vision Ultra H11, 9005, and 5202 for 6 years. I originally purchased them for the bright white color. They are a whiter light than standard halogen OEM or Long Life (LL) bulbs. Driving in urban areas or freeways with ambient light, they are very nice. However, when driving in rural areas and highways, the white light with blue undertone is more difficult for your eyes to pickup. The human eye naturally sees amber light spectrum more visible. I have learned over the years Crystal Vision and Diamond Vision are not brighter, or provide more road coverage than standard bulbs, they just produce a different light color spectrum. I ordered the H7 for a set of aftermarket projector headlights I installed, and these are amazing in light output, and also have an advertised lifespan around 400 hours. I'm excited to see the results in a year or so. Ultimately, I have decided to upgrade all my bulbs to the Philips X-treme Vision variants, and they are fantastic! You can buy X-treme Vision bulbs in up to 100%, 130% or 150% more light. You may sacrifice longevity and bulb life, but the light output is incredible and covers more peripheral vision. Installation depends on your vehicle, I have to remove my front fascia and headlamp assembly to replace bulbs. But these seem worth the effort.

Definitely better than regular halogen, no flickering
OK - I have an older Subaru that has DRLs. No LED will work with the DRLs bc they are lower voltage. I tried several. This is a halogen so it works fine on low and regular setting, but is much brighter than original. Not as bright as I was hoping for, but after all the trials - including the very short life Sylvania - Im happy enough with this Phillips.

Not really 150% brighter than stock, not worth it.
These are not 150% brighter than standart bulbs these look less bright. I can't even tell that I have my lights on when driving in the dark. Longevity I can't talk about that cause I didn't use them longer than 3 nights. On the third night these bulbs tripped the teleaid system services in my benz calling for SOS that the bulbs were shorting out, but they were still on. Had to reinstall back the stock bulbs that were the same wattage as this set 55w. No problem with stock bulbs. Return policy is the worst and rediculous for these bulbs. Waste of money and time not worth it.

Philip Xtreme vision pro 150 bulbs
Time will tell if they last long but so far they are not any brighter than oem halogens. The blue tint on glass refracts light so it appears whiter to the eyes but in reality it's still a halogen and puts off about same lumens as oem. If these don't last I'll go back to oem. Never put HID kits into projector lens unless you change lens to work with hid. Not all projector lens are hid compliant. You kids out there blinding people with them in halogen projector lamps.

Short Life Bulbs
Great brightness and color. However, these lasted less than 9 months in my Volvo S60. If you have a car that has headlights on full time, then you should get a different set. I'm going back to OEM long life bulbs.

Brightness - as expected, longevity - installed only 3 months ago on FJ Cruiser. So far, so good. Let see not only on winter but also on summer trails.

They advertised it as white and all picture on the box shows up as white but when putting it in the car it was yellow they shouldn't say it's white light if it isn't

Happy that I went through the reviews here to find replacement headlamp bulbs for my 2006 VW Jetta. I had bought a set of the really bluish-white bulbs (4800 K, I think) by Osram, made in Germany, and though they looked real purdy, the output wasn't that great on dark roads. It was very dispersed and not focussed. This set by Phillips are whitish, not yellow like the OEM bulbs, but they aren't a really blue white and I find their output very good -- brighter than the yellow OEM bulbs in my brights. They throw well down the road and at the sides -- I can see grass details in the ditch, and excellent detail down the road itself. I watched a couple of videos on YouTube comparing these bulbs with a couple of the competitors (in the same car, down the same road), which also helped my decision in buying this set. My results are similar to what I saw in the videos. People who are complaining about these lamps need to also check the alignment of their headlamps. If your lamps are set too high or too low, or too much to one side or the other, then that is going to affect big time the output of these bulbs or any headlamp bulb. I adjust my own and there's a big difference when the headlamps are directed correctly. I haven't used these long enough to judge longevity, but hopefully they live up to Phillips description.
