Place the item in a suitable container that you can make a mold with. Add water to give you the volume you need as if you were making the mold. Pour the water into the same type of measuring container you would use to measure the compound with. Jot down the amount, or mark it on your container. That should give you an approximate amount of mold maker you should use. Always make a small amount extra, just in case. **Q: Can this product be used to make wedding bands?** A: For small items like rings and other jewelry, always get 30A silicone for the mold, you could also do 20A just dont make the mold too thin. .
