Good electric kettle. Used daily every day the last 2-3 years, works fine, and no complaints except one— the “stainless steel” top lid has small rust spots appearing over the last few months. But that’s only cosmetic, and does not affect the heating and does not come into contact with the water. Easy to pour, heats just as quickly as any other brand I’ve owned. Easy to clean by hand with a soapy sponge, not intended for dishwashers (with filtered water, rarely/almost never needs cleaning anyway ). If you’re new to using electric kettles, remember after using to let the boiling-hot glass cool down completely before refilling with new (cold) water. Leaving the lid open helps it cool,faster. And, the glass is thin and very fragile. If you want an electric kettle for travel (Airbnb’s etc), get the type with a metal body, not the glass carafe type like this.

I have a gas stove and don't really care to boil water that way with old-school kettle. Saw these electric ones and started looking over several of them. This one had consistent positive reviews and was a good price so decided to try one. It is very easy to use and does up to 7 cups (more than my daily needs, but good to have just in case). The heat up time is fast and it'll auto shut-off too. It does have a blue light at the base when it heating which helps at a quick glance. Everything functions well and the build seems to be pretty solid. I really like the fact there is no direct water contact with plastic parts (lid/etc), really prevents the water smelling like plastic. I used it for about 7 days before trying to clear the build up of deposits (wasn't very bad, just prefer to have clean glass). Did the Baking Powder method, sort of worked but might have been the old powder + lack of soak time. So tried Vinegar the next time and that seems to work really well! The build up probably depends on your water source, I'm just using tap water - nothing fancy. Very happy with the purchase and would purchase again or gift one to another. :)

I have only been using my Cosori kettle for a few days but I really love the simple design, ease of use and no plastic. It boils quickly as well. I think it looks nice on the counter. It seems like a great quality and I have been very happy with the quality of my other Cosori products.

You may have heard of a new plastic free coffee brewer. It looks great and I'd love one but for around $400. that's a bit much. This pot is part of my "near plastic free" alternative. I STRONGLY recommend this pot. It's fast and super handy for coffee, tea, any warm drink. This works great, is big enough for the large 8 cup pot. It is a bit heavy full of water like any other container but you only hold it for a few seconds while pouring. The rest of my system is Melitta brewer (8 cup), and Wring coffee warmer. The only time coffee touches plastic is the initial pour over. AND I may fix this with a stainless or glass pour over cone. Frankly it doesn't take much longer brewing this way than with an automatic brewer and I have control over everything. ALL these products have been working GREAT. Oh, and the coffee tastes great. By the way, you might be interested in the one with control for different temperatures, for coffee, tea, etc. I didn't think I needed that.

Works well and easy to use. Boils water in selected amounts quickly. I gave 4 stars because we live in a world of instant gratification and thus, it would be awesome for water to boil instantly, but alas it doesn't.

I think the electric kettle is GREAT!! The kettle water capacity is huge and the more water you have in it the longer it takes to heat. It does heat up fast with the minimum amount of water. It looks nice and sleek when it's boiling. The blue lights are a cool touch. Great buy!!

love this kettle so much! it’s very fast. i fill it up to the third line max (just for tea or ramen, this is more than enough) and i have to rush to wash the dishes while i wait for the water to boil. it beats me every time. it also looks nice in the kitchen. i haven’t experienced any leaking, and it holds more than enough water than anyone would need for normal purposes. water comes to a full rolling boil, so it’s thorough as well 10/10, love it and would recommend to anyone!

Works great, handles doesn’t feel hot so easy to hold, actually heats up in 2 min when at max. Worked great for me to make my kitchen kosher for Passover and now I can use it for drinks. I used it 20 times in a row and it didn’t break. Bought another brand right before and broke after 3 times only. It’s also nice looking
