I purchased these primarily because I suffered with bloating for 6 months or so, after two courses of anti-biotics. I was drawn to this particular product because after carrying out my own research, I wanted a probiotic that included Lactobacillus Plantarum and a CFU number as high as possible, without breaking the bank ! My research suggested that Lactobacillus Plantarum was very good if you have any bowel problems such as IBS and can help heal increased intestinal permeability syndrome which is responsible for many illnesses including arthritis and other immune system diseases where the immune system begins to attack the body. I decided to ration my usage of the 90 capsules to reduce the chance of "diminishing returns". Roughly speaking, I took 30 capsules in month 1, took a break of 4 months, then took another 30 capsules in month 5, another break of 4 months and then the final 30 capsules in month 10. For me therefore, I was able to cover the best part of year with the 90 capsule bottle. Whilst I obviously can't be certain that these and these alone "made me better", as a host of other factors could have played their part, I did notice a significant improvement in much reduced bloating. If you are suffering from bloating after a course of anti-biotics, based on my experience, I would definitely give these a go.

I have been reading a lot about the scientific research into probiotics and gut health and how poor digestion can impact on many other health issues. My health issues: - under active thyroid - difficulty losing weight - gastric ulcers - h.pylori - psoriasis - bloating - IBS - suspected hiatus hernia -GERD/acid daily - difficulty getting to sleep and staying asleep - low energy - severe anaemia I read Healthy Gut, Healthy You: The Personalized Plan to Transform Your Health from the Inside Out, Dr Michael Rustico and my health issues began to feel linked and what’s more linked to scientific evidence about long standing gut issues, difficulty absorbing nutrients (especially iron) and how we can have too much bad bacteria which causes a host of symptoms. I have taken this strain (50 billion) for 2 weeks now and so far my results: - psoriasis has virtually disappeared - stomach and intestinal cramps and gas rare - it was more than once a day before and severe - sleep right through and if I do wake just turnover and back into deep sleep - more energy and not exhausted at the end of the work day - no GERD/acid In short my mood is lifted, I feel happy, energetic and delighted my stomach problems seem to have disappeared. The other symptoms will take a little longer to gauge but I will repost.

These seem to be helping my ibs d. Unfortunately it suggests taking 2 a day for digestive problems which means you have to buy 2 packs a month

Bought this product to give it a try after feeling the benefit of a two monthly course of another manufacturers similar product which was more expensive for less bacteria – in both strains and numbers – which I originally thought I would try to boost my immune system to cope with and counter the effects of looking after grandchildren several days a week, with their never ending constant stream of colds and runny noses. Having now tried this one for a few weeks I am well pleased with the increased beneficial effect on my body, and a long standing frequent problem of not passing regular nice composition motions has diminished. Now a nice clean bottom and the usage of less toilet paper reminds me of happy days long since passed. You will guess from this that I am delighted, my bum has been given a treat, and germs from the grandchildren's colds have met their match – so far so good. With a bottle giving a more economical three months supply of billions of super beneficial gut workers this product is highly recommended and is well worth trying if you have any gut problems at all.

I just want to echo the positive reviews of this product. Having recently been diagnosed with gastritis and all that goes with it, I thought I had nothing to lose my giving it a go. Having read advice about what you should be looking for in a good probiotic I decided upon this product from Physis. It fitted the criteria of what to look for in a probiotic supplement posted online by what appeared to me people with medical knowledge of problems connected to gut health. I notice a positive effect after a few days and now after two weeks I feel my gut health has been restored to some semblance of normality. I know that probiotics cannot cure my gastritis, but for me it was the gut problems associated with gastritis that have caused me the most distress but not anymore. I can’t say they will work for everybody but it may be worth giving them a go for a few weeks and see how you go.

I am no expert on probiotic's and to try and establish these pills were as advertised I conducted a milk test as it seems a popular method. I copied a test from you tube and the results were nothing like the video I watched, barely any difference in the milk consistency at all so I am not sure about these probiotics, and as so I wouldn't recommend. I will still take the 3 month course and hopefully see some health benefits.

Very good customer service and aftercare. I have been taking pro biotics for many years and recently switched to this one for more variety and this one offers a good combination of strains known to be effective for GI issues. Just coming to the end of the bottle. My stomach has been fairly settled on the whole. I have been tested recently and the only pro biotic I show as lacking in m my stomach is acidophilus. I previously had some issues with Candida, parasites and leaky gut so think this is why so I think I need more than the standard dosing of 1 capsule. Will buy again and increase dosage to 3 capsules short term in an attempt to flood my system. I have had no GI issues since taking these so it’s v good in the whole.
