3M Stripe Off Wheel is designed for high-speed removal of vinyl, decals, graphics and double-sided molding striping and trim. This solid molded eraser wheel uses friction to remove decals, rather than abrasive mineral, preventing scratches and damage to the finish of the car, boat or RV. With a medium density rating and high-quality construction, the 3M Stripe Off Wheel delivers long-lasting, reliable and efficient performance in removing unwanted decals, stripes and adhesives from your vehicle. Went home and ordered this 3m wheel. 2 days and it came home. Took the wheel and went straight to work. I have a 1700rpm delwat drill. Worked great at max drill rpm. It was perfect and fast. What took me hours in pass, now done in 30 min. I recommend using rpm that recommend. Do not go over!! This wheel work great at low rpm. Once all the 3m tape was remove. **Q: I read a response saying nothing else was needed!?  How do I attach this to a drill if nothing is needed??   Have now bought 2 and no attachment!**
A: Buy the one with the mandrel,or buy the mandrel only then you can have 2 wheels

**Q: will this remove factory decals on motorcycle gas tank?**
A: I would think it would but did not use it for removing decals or pin stripes of an automobile, but used it to remove residue left from keel guard on a fiberglass boat. It did a very good job but had to be very cautious and move slowly.

**Q: can this be used on a golf cart to take decals off with damage to the paint**
A: It depends on the surface of the golf cart. Is it painted with a clear coat or is it a gel coat like on a boat? From the reading that I was doing, people use them on their boats. If the golf cart is painted without clear coat, then I would advise against it.

**Q: Pictures show mandrel, desription says no mandrel included. What size mandrel do I need for this?**
A: Quarter inch.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Actually worth the money

I admit, I didnt like the $38 price tag. So I ordered some cheaper ones against my better judgment. Sure, they worked, but left alot of yellowing. This 3M wheel though is awesome! I used it to clean up the areas where decals were previously removed (looks like they let the kindergarten kids do it lol) Had alot of small spots. Worked great. Used it on two decals where the paint was starting to bubble beneath it. Took the decal off and left the paint! Its softer and doesn't leave any yellowing unless you get everything hot. If you keep moving, you'll have no issues. Yes these are over 3x the cost of cheaper ones, but its 10x better. Now those cheaper ones would make more sense for taking off the majority then using these 3M to do the final touches. I've used alot of wheels and this one has to be the best. No I'm not being paid by 3M or Amazon for this review either lol It really is a great product, its just not as aggressive as some that leave the yellowing.
