No more awkward charging!
I’ve only had this solar panel for a few days, but so far I’m impressed. Installation was super easy. I used a third party gutter mount to mount the panel to a deck railing near my camera, and once I chose the correct adapters (included with the panel) for my 3C camera. It was simple plug and play for the hardware, then change the charge method for that camera in the app to “solar panel” and it’s done. Performance seems to be quite good. I purposely didn’t charge my camera before installing the panel, because I wanted to see how well it would charge in addition to my daily usage in the “optimal battery life” setting. I’m happy to report that it’s done well in my test. It’s been a mix of sun and overcast, and my camera has gone from 34% to 64% in three days. Not bad IMO since I live in a townhouse community where there is a decent amount of traffic in front of my driveway, which is where the camera/panel is pointed. As far as the panel itself goes, it’s nice that it has a built in cord wrap, the fairly long cord should allow for installation in just about any situation and has a standard micro-usb connector. Adapters for pretty much any eufy camera (even usb-c versions) are included for a weather resistant fit. I shouldn’t have to worry about battery life anymore since it has output my daily usage +10% battery so far, so no more awkward charging with an extension cord or battery pack and climbing on a stepladder. If you have outdoor eufy cameras and a decent view of the sun, this panel is a great way to harness free solar energy to keep your cameras charged and avoid the hassle of charging cameras in areas that aren’t easily accessible.

Works great and keeps my cameras charged, even in weak / short late autumn sun
I've bought three of these to power my 2-year old EufyCam Pro 2 cameras on the front and back of my house. So far, I've mounted two them for the cameras in the back. My setup situation is... suboptimal, to put it mildly. My house faces east-west, the back yard with these two cameras is the east-facing side (so the house is partially in the way for both panels), and the southern side of our yard has a bunch of trees that reduce direct sunlight in these late autumn weeks to just a few hours a day, from about 8 AM to noon. I mounted the panels as far away from the house as possible, on the railings of my deck (which also give the panels a bit of shelter from the northern winds we get), and pointed due south. Both cameras were below 100%; one of them was about 34% when I hooked up the panels 2 weeks ago. Today, both cameras are at 98%. To say I'm amazed at the performance of these panels in charging the batteries of these cameras (which are themselves almost two years old now, with 80% of original capacity still available), is an understatement. The last camera will be the true challenge, though. Both in terms of its placement on the west wall under a roof overhang, which has made finding a good mounting location for the panel with good exposure very challenging; and also in terms of its available sun exposure, due to the same side yard trees and a literal small forest across the street that further blocks strong sun exposure. So I'll be making sure to have that camera fully charged when I do finally mount that panel, but I'm hoping with that prep it'll be enough to keep it that way through the winter. Very worth the money vs replacing these older cameras with newer models, especially since Eufy only has one other camera line that's HomeKit compatible.

Great, simple add-on
This has been a god-send - saving me from climbing up and fetching cameras down for recharging. Even with some spots that are far from ideal for solar (overcast by trees, roof eaves, etc.), the cable is long enough to mount the panel with an eye on the sky. The charging speed isn't super-fast, but it's good enough to keep the batteries topped up. The kit includes connections for just about every standalone Eufy battery camera they've made, so no problems with it matching an existing camera. Great value, and a real saving in time and effort.

Great product!
Installed it a few years back. It's expensive, bought the certified one. Been working for a few years and never had an issue. Been through a few summer, rain and winter season and still working and charging the cameras pretty well.

Work really well, little pricy, installation can be tricky
I bought one of these for each of my outdoor Eufy cameras, and they work wonderfully. If you can get these on sale, they're worth it. Pros: - These work really well once installed. Even when direct sunlight is only available for a couple hours a day, my cameras get enough juice for "Optimal Surveillance" mode while also topping off their charge. - Compatible out of the box. Just set the camera's power source to solar. Cons: - Relatively expensive considering the alternatives. $60 is a ripoff when non-Eufy alternatives are half that price. I got them on sale for $37, which made them a better value proposition - I wish there were better mounting options available out of the box. At the very least, a right-angle mounting bracket would have made my life much easier trying to mount to the underside of my roof line. Instead, I had to measure and saw a bespoke wooden plank in order to point the panel in the right direction.

Even w/out direct sun, slowly but surely to 100%
I've been using this for 3 months now, and figured that's enough time for a fair idea of performance. Full disclosure, I purchased this knowing full well that our site is not ideal, but just hoped it would at least slow the drain and improve the life of the battery between charges. Our camera is mounted at the front of our house. There's a dog park up the street and lots of dogs walking their humans pass by. The camera picks up street traffic, the bus and sidewalk activity. Very busy. The battery life that's advertised as one year, was in actuality just a little over a month for us. I know I could lower sensitivity and add block zones, but that kind of defeats the purpose of having a security camera, right? Unfortunately, the camera is also mounted in a location that is very difficult to access without a ladder and needing to enlist someone to help hold the ladder for me. Another unfortunate element, is that it's mounted on the north side of our home which does not receive any direct sunlight. It's not in the shade, and it does receive indirect light all day long, but never receives actual full direct sunlight. I ordered this with the hope that best case scenario, it would charge with indirect light - - - at the very least, that it would at least slow the battery drain. For the first several late-winter weeks, it did just that. It slowed the battery drain so it only dropped about 1% a day. Occasionally, it would even add a little charge to the battery too. Extrapolating this calculation to 1% drain a day, I surmised that worst case scenario, I would now only need to charge the camera every 100 days instead of the prior 1 month without the solar panel. I installed the panel on Jan 24th. Charge was 100% at that time. In Feb the battery did not charge, but the drain was slowed and it was at 74% in mid March. Recently in late March the battery level has actually managed to either stay steady and often even increased a percent every couple of days. On April 25, the charge reached 100%. It is now late June and the level has never dropped below 100%. Looking at how the sun has moved in the sky, the panel is sitting in full direct sun for several hours a day. I will assume it will stay strong through the summer months, then drop to just a slow drain through Fall and Winter again. If it again, just slows the drain as the days get shorter later in the year, that's still definitely better than it was without the solar panel so I'm definitely happy and very satisfied. Whatever the case, if it keeps me off a ladder to take down and manually charge, I am over the moon for this product.

No more climbing ladders!
I am very happy with these genuine eufyCam solar charging panels. They are easy to install and complement the look of the eufyCams nicely (or as well as any piece of white plastic stuck on the side of your house can look.) The eufy security app lets you tell the camera that it has a solar panel attached so some magic software inside the camera turns off the red or blue charging LED and stops trying to charge at night so you don't wake to a flat battery. We're in a fairly busy neighborhood and I've been lucky to get two months out of our eufyCams. I've been running a dew of these for a few weeks now and they keep the cam batteries up at an acceptable charge level. Now instead of setting the cameras to their lowest sensitivity and shortest recording time, I can let them see and capture whatever they want without having to pull out and climb the ladder to retrieve and recharge them. If you plan on using Apple's HomeKit with your eufyCams, you'll want these as the new crop of eufyCams with solar charging built-in don't work with HomeKit. ** NOTE these DO go on sale frequently. **

EufyCam Solar Panel Works great With EufyCam 3
I installed a Eufycam 3 with the integral solar panel 4 months ago. The necessary location is not optimal for sun exposure. Even here, in south Florida, it was barely able to maintain 91% or so charge with almost no use of the integrated spotlight or even active monitoring. I am certain the charge would have continuously declined if I made any consequential use of the camera and its features. I was very hesitant to buy this solar panel because it strongly appears intended for previous camera models and only force adapted to this much newer camera. Nevertheless, I installed it last week and almost immediately the camera now seems to easily maintain a 100% charge. Although the panel is only a few feet away from the camera, it gets significantly longer and better exposure to the sun. I also do not know, because Eufy is annoyingly vague about this, if the internal battery is now fully dependent on the external solar panel or now both the integrated panel and external panel both contribute energy to charge the battery. Nevertheless, it appears to work great in spite of my fears that this panel was just a Eufy make do solution with an older product. I also do not know yet how truly water tight this solar panel is but to see good sun it is necessarily directly exposed to any rain. The heavy rains associated with the Florida summer afternoon thunder storms are now beginning to start so I am hoping it is indeed watertight.

Ottimo pannello solare. Mai più batterie (vero Arlo?)
Ottimo pannello solare.

Brilliant - kept charging even in winter !!!
These are very easy to install, I brought two to attach to my recently purchased Eufy 3C cameras. I decided to try them because the battery was dropping at a rate that I would of had to recharge them every 100nor so days, not bad but still a ladder and 4-5 hours charging. I brought these on the 17th December, so in the middle of winter and they are both facing south and they have kept the charge at 97-99% (currently at 98%) even with the horrible weather we've been having. In my opinion they are well worth having, if they keep the cameras charged in the winter, they won't ever need charging again! Don't forget you need to change the power source from battery to solar panel - if you forget to do this the battery will drain and you'll think the solar panel isn’t working! Lastly, I've seen reviews saying that the pass through waterproof plugs stop the USB charging lead from going fully home and causing the lead to pop off - see the photos of how to fit the waterproof plugs - put it onto the USB FIRST and then push it home into the camera - watertight and it won't come out unless you pull it out! Hope this helps you decide to buy it or not but give me a 👍 if it does
