If you have acne prone skin, hormonal and or adult acne and have tried other LAA serums with no hope, you need to try this serum. This is the only LAA that my skin will tolerate without causing acne or deep bumps underneath my jawlines. If anything, I believe this has help manage my acne due to the zinc property along with the other soothing ingredients. This does not burn, it dries to a matte finish. Though, I would prefer a glow finish. It has a slight distinct smell but doesn't bother me. It has significantly brighten my dark spots within days! If I have have future dark spots, I know this serum will take care of it. It has ZERO pore clogging ingredients and I would consider this to be gentle on the skin.

To be clear - the serum itself rates five stars. It's positive effects are well described in the other customer reviews. I might add that it gives me a bit of a very attractive tan after a few hours. I'm giving it 3 stars because of the packaging. The small glass bottle is tall, and after getting the eye dropper into the very small opening the bottle is very easily tipped over. If you don't use the eyedropper and just tip a few drops into the palm of one hand, it is, again, easily tipped over as you place the narrow, top-heavy bottle back on the counter/sink. I have tipped these bottles over at least three or four times and spilled out $30, $40? worth of product each time. Years ago they sold a two-ounce bottle with a pump/spray cap, which was far easier to use and never spilled. I saved the spray bottle and refill it (halfway) with the one once bottle. Unfortunately, even this is tricky as I must use a funnel to pour from one tiny opening to the other and the product foams up (like a shaken can of soda) during this process and the foam pushes up and out and I lose several more dollars worth of product. Very annoying and ridiculous for an item that sells at over $100 per ounce. At the price, the least the manufacturer could do would be to make all size bottles with a pump/spray top.
