If so, how?** A: I took my soldering iron and carefully removed the black coating. **Q: Work for car ?** A: They work very well in my Mazda Miata **Q: How do you connect speaker wire to these? There just black plastics like tabs where you would typically connect the wire.** A: You have to solder wires to it. You'll need a low-heat soldering iron otherwise you'll melt the contacts and destroy the speakers.
