Will this work on thick hair? My poor 8 yo is in tears every time she brushes her hair out.

I'm a bit late answering this question but...I have waist length hair and it can be a painful battle to get through it. I don't know why but this brush gets through it SO easily. It takes about a quarter of the time to get through my hair and it doesn't pull like other brushes. I've had mine since 2002! Totally worth the money.

The entire brush is 10" long and just short of 3.5" wide. The actual bristle part is 4.5" long and 3" wide.

No, the bristles are not wooden. It's an amazing hair brush!

Can this brush detangle coarse, thick hair without damaging the hair? Is there a warranty? How do you clean it? Thanks.

I saw my hairdresser use this brush on many different types of hair, and she’s really good, so I would think it wouldn’t harm any type of hair. I clean it once a week with warm water and a shot of Dawn or Palmolive..people also use baby shampoo. Don’t know about warranty but I’ve had mine for several years, no issues.
