Perfect! Greased my garage door gear perfectly!
I got this to grease the gear on my garage door opener. The past few years I have been using sprays (both lithium and silicone) and they work but they don't last long (3 months at most) and the over spray is a pain. Usually at about the 2 month mark the garage door opener would began to make clinking sounds which progressively got worse until the sounds got bad enough that I would grease it again. So, far almost 2 months in with this new lithium grease and the sound of the garage door opener is solid, with no hint of clinking sounds. So, rather then spend a small fortune on a grease gun, I got this tub of grease and some 1 inch chip brushes (I will put a link to them further down).I plunked a chip brush in the end of a piece of PVC pipe (I think it was 3/4") and I used it "paint" the grease onto the gear.I know you're not supposed to apply too much because it can bog the gears down and collect dirt, so I applied the grease in small blobs every 12 inches and then worked it in, then I would run the door up and down and listen for any clinking sounds, then I would repeat placing small blobs every 12 inches which I worked in with the brush. I did this twice and now the garage door sounds great and the whole ordeal cost less than $20.I had the PVC pipe, but even 10 feet of that is less than $5.An added plus, 100% of the grease went where I wanted it to go, there was no over spray full of solvent and grease.09/30/2020 Update (for those who have read this far):It's been most 4 months since I greased the garage door and about 2 weeks ago the door began making a slight sound right before it finally closed, but this week the sound is gone.So it looks like I will have to grease it again soon. The noise is nowhere near as bad as it has been in the past when I was using the sprays. The noise from them started suddenly and just got increasingly worse with each use until the door sounded like rattling chains. The door this time around sounds mostly solid, and like I said the sound went away, but I am sure it will be back, I will re-grease it soon. So, it appears this new method is lasting a little longer. On top of that, t's a lot cheaper, I won't have to deal with over-spray (or post dripping which can get on the car) when I apply the new grease, and there isn't a solvent smell that has to be vented from the garage, so all of that is a plus...I highly recommend the brush and paste grease method.Chip Brushes I used.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078X2GFLB/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Grease seems good, container not so much...
Got this for my snow blower. I'm no mechanic but it seems like decent grease. I docked a star because my container was missing its lid. I noticed a few other reviewers had the same experience. Makes me wonder about this company's quality control.

I love White Lithium grease
I use it to lubricate the garage door spring right above the door. In winter the garage door acts up. Will not go up or goes up half way. In the past I used White Lithium grease spray. It did not work well with. Also use it on other things. Love it! No advise hereโฆmy own experience!
