Pool Skimmer with 5-Foot Aluminum Pole by SplashTech

Most of the pool poles are four feet. I am able to do a quick skim on my pool in a flash. It is perfect!

The product came damaged. The pole was bent. It seems like it was packaged that way, because the box was intact. I am still waiting for the replacement.

The product was as expected, well packaged. The only problem I have is that the pole has no endcap. The picture showed that there was a handle at the end of the pole. The pole end right at the metal and has the potential that an accidental move punctures the lining of the pool.

There are better pool skimmers on the market than this one. I purchased this on Amazon for just under twenty bucks, so I think it was a good deal, but I wouldn't pay more for it. I had an issue with trying to remove the skimmer head. The manufacturer chose to use the first set of holes which made the skimmer limp and nearly useless. It took me awhile to get the skimmer removed from the pole (using a couple of needle nose pliers) and then reinsert it into the second set of holes which makes the attachment sturdy. I've used it pretty much every day for a month and so far, I haven't had any rips or tears in the screening and the pole is holding up well.

Very weak and has a small skimmer. The netting is poorly applied, but it works okay. Easy for kids to use.

We had one like it when our pool was first installed (in the mid 1980s) and used it more often than our telescoping skimmer for an easy, quick clean up. After this '5-footer' finally wore out, I had not been able to another so when I saw this one I ordered it immediately. I know from past experience I will enjoy using it. Even my adult children were happy to see this handy item by our pool. Thank you.

Lightweight and the perfect size...price was just right.

The product would have been what we were looking for, but the shippers broke the handle in half to fit it in a box that was 3 ft long instead of the required 6 ft! There is no way to put it together as the pole is broken in 2 pieces. Lots of other reviews about bent poles, the shipping of this item is destroying the product.

Came in 4 pieces. During shipping the handle broke in three pieces. The box was damaged as well.
