Campbell's Condensed Tomato Soup, 10.75 oz Can

The best tomato soup hands down! I also use it for salad dressings and all sorts of recipes. I've tried other brands and none compare. Sometimes its best to stick with the classics. Im happy to say this is one brand that hasn't changed their recipe. Great price too!!

Perfect tomato soup. Deep rich taste, easy to fix, economical and healthy. King of the soup hill. Great classic, must have. Nothing better with a grilled cheese sandwich.

It’s the family winter snow day staple-Campbells tomato soup in a can! Easy pop-open design style can, all you have to do is open up the can, add water to desired thickness, maybe salt & pepper to taste, warm it on the stove in a pot or in a microwave safe cup if you prefer, and you’re good to go! Nice and tangy tomato taste, perhaps a little on the saltier side. Rich, hearty and especially ideal when it’s a cold, snowy winter day and a little good old fashioned comfort is needed! (Here’s a tip from my sister… she adds some frozen veggies when she wants a little more “oomph” to her soup; if you do this, remember the veggies will retain some additional water, either from freezing or packed in the can, so calculate your need for more additional fluid accordingly). What more do you need, except maybe your mom’s grilled cheese? (FYI-for this se of you wanting the health information…each serving contains 90calories/serving, 0% fat, 21%sodium…).

What can you really say? It's Campbell's Tomato Soup, and I love it. It's my favorite soup. Amazon does need to learn how to ship soup cans, as I ordered ten, four of which were dented because they were banging around in a box too large to hold them snugly. But I'm not taking any stars off for that.

It's a taste from childhood - who doesn't remember having grilled cheese sandwiches and warm tomato soup as an easy lunch choice? After having some major dental work recently I've been craving soup, because it's easy on my sort mouth. Since I can't tolerate cow's milk dairy any longer, the distinctive tomato taste of this soup allows for using plant-based milk to dilute it to the proper concentration. Maybe my taste buds are mis-remembering, but this modern version of condensed tomato soup has a more distinctive flavor than I recall as a kid. That's not a bad thing. This is also versatile for adding to other recipes, beyond "just" as soup. It's good to keep a couple of cans in the pantry for whenever you may need the tangy addition of this flavor to your meal prep.

TURKEY MEATLOAF WITH TOMATO SOUP Ingredients * 1 lb ground turkey (93% Lean 7% Fat) * 1 packet onion soup mix * 1 egg beaten * 1/2 cup panko Italian breadcrumbs * 1/4 cup Campbell’s tomato soup (mixed into meat) * remaining Campbell’s tomato soup (for topping) Instructions 1. Preheat oven to 350°F. 2. In a large bowl, mix ground turkey, onion soup mix, egg, breadcrumbs and 1/4 cup tomato soup. 3. Put mixture into a greased glass baking dish and shape into a loaf. 4. Bake 45 minutes then pour remaining tomato soup on top and bake an additional 15 minutes until internal temp reaches 165°F. 5. Let rest 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with mashed potatoes and the tomato soup drippings as gravy!
