Subtle, and not overly sweet- tasty! Excellent!
I am a black currant addict, so I thought I'd give these a try. I really like them! The flavor is nice but not overbearing like we're used to. It's really pleasant. Have you ever had a Hi-chew? Same consistency, but with a black currant flavor. Weird suggestion? Roll gently between your teeth or suck on it. You really pick up the black currant flavor!! Thumbs up! I will order them again.

I love black currant
For anyone who doesn’t know the reason black currant is so hard to get in the US is because it was actually made illegal!! Black currant plants give a disease to white pine trees which were a major trade in the US. However black currents also weren’t particularly popular, so they were just banned. In other parts of the world there was snow white pine trade, or at least less of one. And as such these countries get to have arguably the best flavor in the world, black currant. 10/10 flavour. The best. So glad to get in the states.

Disappointed
Not what I expected ... They're tiny, they stick in the wrappers, and they don't taste like much.

Very subtle in flavor
Barely taste black currant-almost like it’s sugar free without aspartame 😅

Not quite, but nice to have
These are basically black currant Starbursts, or in essence a small square of taffy flavored like black currant. I would prefer pastilles (and I'll probably turn my attention towards those later) but this is nice for the flavor, if nothing else. Black currant is a rarity in this country (the US) and, as someone who was born in British-controlled Hong Kong, I can't get black currant-flavored stuff here without going to some significant lengths.

Sugus Candy
Delicious candy from Vietnam and Thailand. Our daughter got this candy in Thailand when she was there. I bought a bunch of it when I went to Vietnam and Thailand. My Vietnamese friends had never had it. They loved it as much as we do. They have other flavors but currant is our favorite.

Better than a Starburst
This is probably my new favorite candy. We don't have blackcurrant in the US, so this was a new flavor for me. It's more sweet than tangy, but still fruity. This chewy taffy isn't too hard, it's like a nowandlater but a tad softer and chewier. I wish these were as abundant as Mambas or Starburst, because they're better!

So Yummy
Got these in my Christmas stocking and they are so yummy. Tart and sweet and fruity.
