You get one blind bag with a single minifigure, base plate, and accessories inside. If you really thought you were getting 16 brand name minifigures for $6 then you thought you were getting away with something - all the people complaining are just upset that it didn't work out (they cost about $5 new in store and only go up from there!). So while I agree it should be in the name of the item, or at least more clearly stated in the description, I'm not sure why so many people are leaving shocked reviews.
