Pretty great for the price
I was looking for a pair of earbuds to replace my Skullcandy Dime 2 wireless earbuds. I wanted a pair with a longer battery life since the Skullcandy only gave me a couple of hours and I had to charge them every day if I wanted to use them the next day which I hardly ever remembered to do. The battery life on these is great. It's a relief that I don't have to charge them every single day if I want to use them the next. Not to mention the sound quality is pretty great too. I'm no audiophile, but these buds deliver on the mids and highs. Supposedly these have noise cancellation but I haven't figured out how it works just yet. I noticed some people complained about the controls on the buds. One of them is that there is no way to rewind to a previous track when listening to music. Well, it's probably because they didn't bother to explore the Soundcore app that works with these buds. In the app, you can customize the controls to your liking. For example, assign Siri, next track, and volume up to one bud, and for the other play and pause, previous track, and volume down. Also in the app, you can play around with different sound types to find the one that brings the music to your ears in the best way for you personally. Besides the buds, you get multiple-size ear tips and wings to make them secure in your ears. Finding the right fit adds to the sound quality because the ear tip creates a seal to block out external noise so keep that in mind. One last thing I was pleased to find was that there are silicone cases for these buds with a lanyard attachment that can go on your keys or a keychain in general. This was a big win for me personally as these are now the buds I use when I go to run errands and it is nice to have these hooked on my keyring and not causing sag/drag on my pants. If interested, just search "Silicone case for Soundcore Life A1" and you'll find it. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and I hope this review helps anyone looking to find a suitable pair of earbuds. Highly recommend these for anyone who wants a pair for casual use but also delivers in sound and function.

5 stars. Outstanding value for comfort, battery life, and sound quality.
These Soundcore earbuds are hands-down one of the best values I’ve found if you want comfort and quality without overspending. I drive a tractor-trailer and operate heavy equipment in construction, so I need something dependable for hands-free calling, long wear, and clear sound — these deliver. The comfort is exceptional. Once you get the right ear tips fitted, you honestly forget they’re even in. I can wear them for hours without discomfort. Battery life feels endless. They hold a charge incredibly well, which matters when you’re working long days and don’t want to keep stopping to recharge. Sound quality is surprisingly good for the price, and call quality has been solid for me in real-world, noisy work environments. Bottom line: tough, comfortable, reliable, and a great value. I have zero complaints and would absolutely buy them again.

Purchased in 2021, solid earbuds with some issues...
First, please know that I purchased these earbuds in May of 2021. They are now over 4 years old and still working fine for my needs. Here's how I felt using these earbuds roughly 3-4 times a week for hours per occurrence. Pros - Doesn't break the bank but isnt as cheap as those 20 dollar no name ones you can get on Amazon that change their name but remain the same product. - Sound quality is good, not great. Bass is there but not to a point where I was impressed. I would say overall they sounded passable for music. For podcasts, which I listened to mostly with these, is fantastic. Voices are crisp and cut through any background noise. - Noise cancellation, don't really notice it, not sure if it doesn't even have it or I just haven't turned it on. - Battery life was great for the first few years, as of now 4 + years in, a single charge of the carrying case and buds inside will get me about 20 hours of podcasts at a loud volume. Cons - the rubber ear tips. Not the ones that go into your ear canal and cover the speaker, I'm referring to the ones that sit on top of the earbud and assist with keeping the earbud in place. They are an AMAZING addition. I mean, I could play pick up basketball games with these in and they'd be rock solid the entire time. The bad part comes into the picture now, a few years later. They've stretched out to a point they don't function like they should and the buds fall out easily. I went to purchase a replacement and Anker is sold out for the past month. It's a damn shame I'll have to replace a perfectly good part of earbuds because Anker doesn't support their products properly post sale. Tldr: Good earbuds for podcast and some music, company support for replacement parts sucks.

Great 1st impression starting with same day delivery
We placed the order about 5pm and it was delivered about 10pm which we didn't expect. Sweet!! Right out of the box the buds and case were charged and I could have used them right away. One needs a magnifying glass or 20/10 vision to read the instructions for setup. This brand is very similar to another pair I have used so setup was familiar. When making the bluetooth connection the first time you may have to turn off, then on the bluetooth connection on your mobile phone or device. Then the device will pick up the buds connection. The packaging is very good with multiple choices of ear wings and ear tips to fit your ear canal. Take the trouble to try different sizes and combo for each ear. Not all ear canals are born the same even on the same head. Each bud is marked (hard to see) with L and R to designate right and left slot in charging case and which bud goes in which ear. The ear wings are also marked but in my case not very well so swapping out the ear wings I may have the left on the right ear bud and vice versa. I will figure it out wearing them. I use buds just for listening to talk radio and audiobooks so I have nothing to say about quality of sound (bass, tone, treble, etc). The words sound just fine to me. Save the package all together for future reference/needs. UPDATE Feb 2022. I have been using them for more than an hour each day listening to talk radio/audiobooks. Great audio heard. The ear wings make all the difference. They almost make the buds total noise cancellation from street noise around you they seal so well. If someone wants to talk to you while listening to music/talk its best to take one bud out. UPDATE May 2022 I am wearing the buds at least an hour daily for audiobooks. Still works great. Be careful not to mess with the ear wings once they fit best in ear and especially in charger. If they get out of position you can still hear OK its just that when put into charger they aren't positioned to recharge. Look for two white lights as they click in place. Then you know they are charging OK. UPDATE Jun 2022. Bummer. The case stopped charging the buds. I cleaned the buds and inside case but failed to fix problem. Contacted Anker who asked for copy of invoice (thank you Amazon for easy way to get it) and serial nr. of buds which I gave them on 6/6/22. I got 'recycled' buds on 6/9/22. Thank you Anker. They sent a complete box which I needed as the ear wings needed to be replace. Outstanding customer service. UPDATE Oct 2022. I have been using the first pair of buds since I got the 'recycled' pair with the replacement bud charging case. The buds have worked just fine and recharge as well. I wear them for at least an hour a day and eventually the rubber ear wings that hold them in your ear lose their 'umph'. You get spares but not all the same size that works best for your ear canal. So one bud fits better in one ear than the other. Small disappointment.

Best sounding and Best Value earbuds
These have been the best earbuds I've come across so far. I do not know why the ear wings aren't on all earbuds, they are so comfortable and clearly keep them from falling out of your ear, which is my biggest nuisance with a lot of them, as you start to feel it sliding out. These fit perfect, can't fall out. Now onto the sound.....the bass on these are so gooood! The overall sound quality for these earbuds are amazing. When I use these I don't feel I am missing out in comparison to over the head headphones. I use these with my Ipod Nano and sometimes through my phone, been perfect to pair it up and sounds great with both. Being able to wirelessly charge them is also really cool. The case is great. Literally zero complaints while I've had these so far for a couple of years. I had some Jabra's before and it was lacking a lot with bass, was blown away by how much punch these had. I was worried it would either be only a little extra or maybe some kind of distorted bass, but it is super crisp and punchy. If looking for some great sounding earbuds, that is super affordable on top of it....I don't see how anyone would be disappointed with these.

Keep looking
I have purchased these earbuds twice now. I purchased these because I have trouble finding buds that will not fall out of my ear while working Out or running. At first, I really enjoyed these buds. The sound quality was exceptional, the fit/ comfort was tolerable, and the battery life was very good. The first pair I got, the right bud just stopped working out of the blue after about a year of daily use. Seeing that they weren't too expensive, I took it with a grain of salt and just ordered another pair. I purchased that pair spring of 2025, and they just got retired Jan 2026. With this second pair, the silicone sleeve that goes around the bud to keep it in your ear got warn down very fast and kept slipping out of place, making it fall out of my ear constantly. The sound quality of this pair got bad much faster as well. Along with trouble with the charging case. It didnt seem to hold a charge for as long as my first pair did. At times I would put them in the case expecting that they are charging and when I went to use them, they were still low battery. Im assuming it was because that silicone sleeve had slid out of place and was making the connectors not line up properly. Even with all the trouble I have had with these buds, I still love soundcore and the amazin products that they make. I have been a long time customer of them and I dont plan on turning my back just because these buds didnt fit my needs. If you are looking for great buds, soundcore makes them, just not necessarily these ones.

Excellent Value for the Price
I bought these to replace my Bose Sport earbuds. While I wanted something that would give me great audio, I didn't want to spend what I paid for those previous earbuds; these Soundcore Life A1do not disappoint, in fact, they are exceeding my expectations. Bluetooth Pairing: Open the case, go to bluetooth settings on the device and select the Life A1 buds. Done. Literally took me less than 15 seconds. Once my devices were paired, as soon as I take a bud out of its case it's already connecting to the last device I used, and by the time I have it popped in my ear, it's ready to go. Comfort and Fit: These buds come with several sizes of plugs, and three sizes of wings. After a little trial and error to get the right fit for my ears, these are so comfortable, I forget I have them in after a while. They are lightweight, they don't pinch anywhere, and I can easily wear these for an entire day at my desk without any discomfort whatsoever. Controls: Like many earbuds these days, you can control several common functions by pressing the earbuds (play/pause, volume up/down, answer/reject calls, Siri, etc.). One thing that surprised me is that these are actual buttons, and not just a touch-control like some other buds have. Build Quality and Design: Both the case and the earbuds are light, but at the same time, feel like they are made to last. Nothing feels "cheap" or "flimsy". The case has a solid magnetic closure design, there is no play in the hinges of the case lid. The buds themselves are riding that fine line between lightweight and feeling substantial enough to feel like a quality earbud. Battery Life and Charging: I can easily go all day long with these buds. I used them continuously for 9 hours on one single charge. The case and the buds themselves charge quickly. And as an added bonus, not only can you charge the case via the USB-C charging port, you can also use a wireless charger. The App: There is a Soundcore app you can download that offers some additional options. It allows you to customize the button controls although your only options of functions to assign to button presses are volume, play/pause, next/previous, Siri, or no action. The app also offers equalizer settings, but you are limited to their 21 presets; 20 equalizer configuration presets and a "Soundcore Signature BassUp". While these presets will most definitely do the trick, I was slightly disappointed there was no option for a custom EQ preset the user can make on their own. Overall, I am incredibly impressed by the value, less than $40 for all of this? And to be honest, these sound at least as good as my previous Bose earbuds.

Great for an active lifestyle
Edit: I came back just to add that these earbuds and the case just survived a cycle in the washer. They still charge just fine and the sound is still all good. Color me surprised. I will preface this review by saying that I am somewhat of a cheapskate when it comes to buying anything, including earbuds, but I was tired of the mixed quality of earbuds that I was buying from the under $40 price range - the most expensive earbuds I had before these for reference were the TOZO T6 earbuds. I was looking for a solid pair of true wireless earbuds that: 1) had solid battery life (minimum 4 hour playtime before needing to be put back in the case is what I wanted) 2) support wireless charging (so I can just plop the case on the charger overnight and grab it in the morning before I leave the house) 3) do a good job of blocking out exterior noises (I primarily use wireless earbuds at the gym where background noises can be very loud) 4) have a "wing" design to help the earbuds stay in the ear despite aggressive head motions (for going to the gym, because I've had earbuds fall out of my ear during workouts before) First impression, these earbuds have met these criteria so far with flying colors! Some other pros I have noted: - case is light and made from plastic, but I don't get the impression it will get damaged particularly easily - slim case design (relative to my previous TOZO T6 earbuds' case) - I appreciate that this case doesn't take up a ton of space. I am actually somewhat worried I might misplace the case and not be able to find it because it's so slim, but that will be seen at a later time if this happens - in addition to 5 different sized earbud tips, there are also small, medium, and large wing sizes. I find that the medium size wings with the 2nd largest tips fit my ears pretty well. It's worth taking a few minutes to just play around with the different sizes to see what fits best. - surprisingly PUNCHY BASS, even on the default EQ mode with the right songs - as I was writing this, "I Don't Wanna Be In Love" by Good Charlotte came on I was legit surprised by how much the bass kicked my ears! Cons I have noticed: - Only 3 EQ modes you can switch between by pressing the buttons on either earbud three times (though personally I don't anticipate ever needing more than the default "soundcore signature" EQ mode in most situations, as I feel it is very well balanced at default) - Not compatible with the soundcore app - that said, I don't really want to use any more apps than I've already got, so I don't mind this - These do require a USB-C cable (included) or wireless charging to charge, which is fine for me because I have wireless chargers in my house, but for anyone whose electronics mostly revolve around micro-USBs or lightning cables, this could be inconvenient. Generally, I think these are really good quality for their price, especially for anyone who would use these for exercise like me. I would easily recommend these for anyone who doesn't want to drop more than $60 for a solid pair of earbuds.

Buen sonido. No cancela el ruido. Toques de más en los botones físicos. No quedan mal.
Gracias.

I doubt they could be beaten for the price.
I've had loads of earphones & headphones over the years. I work professionally in the audio world so use everything from custom in ears to high end open and closed back headphones, so feel somewhat qualified to give an opinion. Fit: Can't complain here. Various size tips and wings to achieve the correct fit. The tips being the part that go into your ear canal, the wings fit over the body of the earphone and help hold it in the concha of the ear. They are made of a soft to touch silicone. I've always preferred foam ear tips for comfort and fit, but they gather dirt, breakdown more quickly and are difficult to clean. For a pair of daily earphones the silicone is a more sensible choice. I've only had them in an hour so can't comment on long term comfort. Keep in mind you will want to spend 5 or 10 minutes trying different combos of tips and wing to find a good fit and seal. Creating a good seal between the tip and the ear canal will absolutely transform the bass level and overall volume. The body/wing part are more for comfort and to ensure they stay in place. Sound: I was pleasantly surprised at this price point. Not overally toppy, good bass, plenty of volume (make sure your phone/device is sending full level, and then control the level of the earphones themselves). I think there's about 18 "clicks" of volume settings on the headphones. For music I have it set at around 9 (half way). A little bit of distortion with SUPER strong bass but nothing bad. Stereo image is decent. I can't really see it getting better at this price. There are 3 EQ settings. The soundcore signature, bass booster & acoustic. It doesn't tell you what you're on, so you kind of have to figure it out. Clicking from bass booster to acoustic is the most obvious so you know the next setting will be back at soundcore signature. I'd say the soundcore signature sits somewhere between acoustic and bass booster sound wise. Isolation is pretty good for a pair of earphones without active cancellation. Plenty of isolation for me. I don't like to be completely detached from my surroundings so although i've given it 3 stars from a isolation performance perspective, for me personally it's a 5! Features: I turned them on, my phone found them and connected straight away. They magnet into the charging case and light up to show you've seated them properly. Take them out of the case and they reconnect if left on. Front of the case shows the battery left (temporarily) when putting them away. Wireless charging by putting the case on a wireless charging pad works well. Value for money: High scores on this. I was getting ready to spend 100+ on a pair, but as it's really only for commutes and general listening I decided to have a punt on these. No regrets so far!

Amazing Earbuds
I’ve had these headphones for over 6 months now and they still perform as if they were brand new. The battery life on these are insane! I use these nearly everyday, and I only need to charge the case overnight about once every two weeks. They offer a huge amount of bass and volume, they fit in my ears perfectly, and they never fall out of my ears or get loose with the standard fit. There is no active noise cancellation, but that isn’t expected for earbuds at this price. The seal does a good enough job for me. My only small complaint for these headphones are the sound profiles. You can triple-click an earbud to change it’s sound profile, but there is no indicator to know which profile you switch to. Other than that, these are hands down the best wireless earbuds at this price. Great job Anker!! Edit - Almost 1 year later (about 11 months) the left earbud completely died out of nowhere. I was listening to music when I noticed the left earbud lost volume completely. I thought it may have died so I charged it, didn’t work. I tried resetting the earbuds based on the manual, also didn’t work. Then I found on youtube that the left earbud suddenly not working is a common issue in Anker’s Soundcore earbud lineup. I hope to get this fixed through customer support! Edit #2: Anker sent me another pair in about a week free of charge, since these earbuds have an 18 month warranty. The new earbuds work perfectly. Amazing customer support thank you Anker :)

Great for commuting to work
Lost my right earbud due to an accident on my ebike so decided to get this one which is really awesome. Lightweight and fit snuggly inside my ear without fearing it might fall off under any circumstances. The only downside to it is the volume. I like it loud while riding my ebike but when I put the volume up to max it didn't really satisfy me so I had to install a booster app to crank it up a little bit. Problem solved but am not sure if this will damage the earbud in the long run.
