Now I must use wrench to close port every recharge, so apparently on last recharge I did not tighten enough to engage the rubber seal so inside electronics got wet, now unit shuts off every 15 seconds. Have tried everything to dry unit out to no avail. $1000 paper weight! I begin my lifelong boycott of Seadoo products. If my boycott is as effective as my previous boycott of some local restaurants... The exterior of the box killed the excitement.2.) product looks great on pictures, take out of the box and this things feels really really cheap. for $900 dollars I expect machined parts. Molded plastic parts have discoloration. button trigger is designed to break after a while. it's just not a quality product but then again. this is there top of the line product and I have a feeling all of there products share the same platform expect the battery power supply changes. Sorry Sea Doo its needs some serious improvements. its a good idea. but speed is also too slow. your speed ratings are based without any operator on the products most likely. Maximum speed with an operator is about 3 to 3.5 KM.
