its not working as they described.
It connects only one side (normal speed) and if u connect two with 1 CAT 6 cable it becomes terribly slow internet. goes down to 1mbps or less. Most of the time i can't connect as well.

They do NOT work!
Initially I thought they work, but this version of the "splitter" has all 8 pins connected to both ends, which is wrong, only 4 should be connected to either side like in the drawing but they are not.If you plug in one cable only it works as soon as you plug in the 2nd one it dos not work any more.Waste of time and money this version.Hopefully one of the other ones will work

You must use 2 of these for it to work properly.
These work perfectly. Most of the bad reviews here and on other splitters don't seem to understand how these splitters do there job.2 devices/PC via 2 wires lead too 1st "splitter", that splitter connects to the ethernet wire that you want split. The "splitter" splits the 8 wires inside that cable to 4 wires for each device giving you a max connection speed of 100Mbs. the other end of the wire to be split needs a "splitter" so that those 2 sets of internal wires can be connected to 2 different PORTS on the router/switch.

These donot split the signal only one side works, worhtless
These do not work. I installed it to use on the computers and thought it was working. But one of the pcs was connected to the wireless and i did not realize that. When i discovered i was not connected to the ethernet, i thought there was something wrong with the cables, but after swapping everything i find that the 2nd adapter from the order has the same problem. it only works one leg. too late to return a total waste of $$

Cuts internet speeds significantly!
bought this to split my dual pc setup from the the modem, i get 1 gig down and 1 gig up with just the one cable running out of my pc and when i connect through this splitter my speeds go from that above to only 90mbs down and 90mbs up!
