Available in striking colors like Red, Green, and Brass, it enhances your camera's aesthetics while providing a comfortable grip for smoother shutter releases. The innovative design includes an o-ring for added security, ensuring you never lose your button during a shoot. Perfect for photographers using popular models like the X100 series and X-T series, this button allows for greater control and stability, making it an essential addition to your photography toolkit. ## Description Our beautifully designed buttons are a perfect complement to the Lensmate Thumbrests. Fits any shutter button with a threaded hole. We offer several unique engraved designs, some based on traditional Japanese family crests, in both aluminum and brass. Most users of our thumbrests find that the new position places the first joint of the shutter finger over the shutter button when the hand is relaxed. Our soft release buttons are shaped to nestle comfortably under the index finger first joint, enabling a softer shutter release and allowing lower shutter speeds without shake. Of course if you prefer using your finger tip, or it just lines up better with the shutter button you might prefer the non-engraved concave brass model, though there's no reason you couldn't use the convex model as well (mushroom shape). Review: Nicely made, good, functional addition to my camera - Purchased this to replace the little cheap one that I initially purchased that fell off after a few months. So far, so good...had it about 6 weeks and it is great to have. Much easier to find and release the shutter with this vs no soft release button. My only wish is I did like the fact that the little cheap one I had before was just a simple red concave top that felt very good under my finger vs the little lizard that looks cool, but doesn't feel quite as good. Review: Great product, excellent customer service - This button has given me a disproportionately large amount of joy during my photography excursions! It’s very aesthetically pleasing, adding a distinctive flair to my camera, which as petty as it may sound makes me feel like it’s my own! In terms of functionality, the button makes my shooting experience feel smoother. Even with smaller fingers, there’s a very clear tactile difference. Customer service was also excellent from Lensmate! During a photoshoot, my button fell off and unfortunately got lost. I emailed customer service about it, and they responded very promptly, sending me a replacement along with tips on how to secure it better. Definitely recommend it! ## Features - Fits any Standard shutter button with a threaded hole. This Lizard soft release button is available in Red, Green, and Brass, see our other listings. - Our beautifully designed buttons are a perfect complement to the Lensmate Thumb Grips. - The aluminum models have been color anodized, then the raised portions buffed to a high polish for a striking effect. The brass models receive a similar treatment - an overall patina is applied then the raised areas buffed to a high polish for contrast. - All Lensmate soft release buttons are now equipped with an o-ring around the threaded shaft which creates friction between the soft release and shutter, preventing loss. - Most users of our thumbrests find that the new position places the first joint of the shutter finger over the shutter button when the hand is relaxed. Our soft release buttons are shaped to nestle comfortably under the index finger first joint, enabling a softer shutter release and allowing lower shutter speeds without shake. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Best Sellers Rank | #254 in Camera Shutter Release Cords | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 226 Reviews | ## Images ![Lizard Soft Release Button - Red - fits Any Standard Threaded Release - Includes X100VI, X100V, X100F, X100T, Xpro3 & Xpro2, X-T3, X-T2, X-E3, X-E2s, X-E2, X-T30, X-T20 - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61Vtp02jg0L.jpg) ![Lizard Soft Release Button - Red - fits Any Standard Threaded Release - Includes X100VI, X100V, X100F, X100T, Xpro3 & Xpro2, X-T3, X-T2, X-E3, X-E2s, X-E2, X-T30, X-T20 - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41Oi9cLFlzL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Will this product work with a Fuji X-30 mirrorless camera?** A: Hi Omar,This is Susan of Lensmate.Yes all our custom threaded soft release buttons will fit the Fuji X-30 as it has a standard threaded shutter release mount.Best Regards Susan **Q: Does it fit xpro1?** A: Yes because the Xpro1 has a standard threaded shutter release button any of our Lensmate soft release buttons will fit. Regards Susan of Lensmate **Q: Is it made in the usa or in china?** A: Hi Yulia,All our soft release buttons are designed here in the US, CNC'ed in Asia, they then come back to the US and are Anodized- which is a two part chemical process for a tough finish. We then do all the finishing work in house so we have control over the quality of the product. That includes removing the anodizing from the raised design so the silver Lizard shines through, buffing and polishing the part, and giving it a light waxing. An o-ring is added to the button and it is then packaged and labeled.Susan of Lensmate **Q: Is there one compatible with a Canon 5d mark 4?** A: The Canon 5D mark 4 does not have a threaded shutter release, so you would have to use a stick on one like Lolumina Brand. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nicely made, good, functional addition to my camera *by O***E on December 13, 2016* Purchased this to replace the little cheap one that I initially purchased that fell off after a few months. Aside from the slightly pricey cost of the item (two for the price would have been nice), it does what it purports to do and adds a nice accent to my X-E1 camera. I used it to replace a rubber PRODOT shutter stick on, which kept getting unglued. I have used this product for about a month now and remains firmly attached to the camera. I would recommend this. ## Frequently Bought Together - Lensmate Lizard Soft Release Button - Red - fits Any Standard Threaded Release - Includes X100VI, X100V, X100F, X100T, Xpro3 & Xpro2, X-T3, X-T2, X-E3, X-E2s, X-E2, X-T30, X-T20 - Lensmate Thumb Grip for The Fujifilm X100VI - Silver - Fujifilm NP-W126S Li-Ion Rechargeable Battery --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.th/products/2656424-lizard-soft-release-button-red-fits-any-standard-threaded-release](https://www.desertcart.co.th/products/2656424-lizard-soft-release-button-red-fits-any-standard-threaded-release) --- *Product available on Desertcart Thailand* *Store origin: TH* *Last updated: 2026-11-04*
