Bosch Nexxt 500 washer back again!
Didn't have draining issues that we knew of, washer seemed to work just fine. Little did I know the impeller was in such bad shape until we got an error code that turned out to point to the drain pump. After testing realized it had just quit draining... Opened up the inspection/cleanout port on the front and did not find the sump dirty or full of lint, etc. Did then realize that the impeller was free spinning and not moving water. Can't complain on a washer that's almost 20 years old! Fast forward to this replacement part arriving...as mentioned in other reviews, there were two items that extended the installation time aside from the really cramped location: 1) the electrical connection area on the back of this one has a shroud, ostensibly to protect the connection, that makes it harder to reach when plugging in, and the plug orientation is 'upside down' compared to original. Checked this prior to installation so was aware, but it added a bit of time to orient while not being able to see the back of the unit, just need to do it by feel. 2) discharge hose is a bear to get into new outlet. Knew this going in from other reviews but even with lubrication, the space to work is really tight and really needs two hands to hold pump and hose to fully insert and lock in place with the tabs. I found that repeatedly checking by shining a light on the connection to check orientation of the locking tabs and rotating eventually got the tabs locked in place. Washer is functioning perfectly now and seems to be draining faster but it may just be perceived due to the new unit. All in all a relatively easy and perfect replacement to keep our beloved Bosch hopefully running for years to come.

Works with Bosch Nexxt 300
Got this as a replacement for my dying one on a Bosch Nexxt 300. I did use some silicon lube, but with it, everything fit like a dream. You guys are life savers.

An inexpensive DIY fix for an expensive washer.
I am glad I found this pump at a great price for my WFMC2201UC-13. It is working as well as the original pump that had been there for years. The installation was slowed by the issue others have had with the discharge hose. The solution was to make my own discharge hose using a 1" rubber drain pipe coupling and some flex tubing to replace the no longer available Bosch "gutter drain" part. It's working and I saved a ton over getting another washer. I also like the tiny hose that is used to empty the pump housing before removing the threaded cap for cleaning. No more water on the floor every time I check the pump for lint and debris. I have another similar machine and am going to buy another one of these pumps to have on hand as a spare. The pump went out on my second washer and I bought another one of these pumps. The original pump on the second machine was black plastic. The installation went much smoother this time even though there was the same issue with the discharge hose being a very tight fit. By applying a water soluble lubricant to the pump outlet and the o-ring on the hose plus using a bit of force, the connection was made. Looking back, I should have changed the o-ring on the hose of the first machine to one with a slightly thinner rubber part. Possibly an R-15 o-ring and some better lubricant. These pumps work well.

Great Value replacement for pump Bosch no longer sell
Good to have an option for a pump that Bosch no longer sell. Fitted ok, following the yt video there is out there (not allowed to link) A few things: 1: Pump drain/discharge hose connectors do not fit with Bosch for mine. It seems Bosch changed this male end of hose fitting between different model years, so you may be lucky, but more likely not. Prepare for that with either some adapter junction or at the least force it in as best you can, then wrap with self fusing silicone tape. 2: The washer's access hole edges are crazy sharp. As others say, they are like razors. You have been warned!! Buy some of this $8 protection: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Z7DWK8C?psc=1 - it works great. Pump is noisier than the original, one star ding for that, and the fitting, but is better than landfill of an otherwise perfectly good washer. Shame on Bosch for not supporting it with parts after not that long. Edit: On our second one of these after 4 years. Works ok and better than throwing away an otherwise good washer, but same issues as above: 1: drain hose coupling is not identical and requires force-fitting best you can, then wrap with self-fusing plumbers tape. 2: Pump is *noisy*. Nowhere near as quiet as original Bosch one was (which they don't make anymore) 3: Draining is very powerful and slightly overwhelms our pipes, causing a bit of water bubbling up into nearby shower. Might fit a step down adapter or hose crimp to slow that flow. It's crazy strong - far more powerful than needed! Otherwise, follow YouTube video, and *protect yourself* from the razor-sharp access hold edges. You have been warned!

Very good pump replacement
Bosch Model WFMC4301UC/01 with bottom front round pump clean out cover (use stiff nail to open clockwise). Pump not working and making awful rough noise. Cleaned access, finding no clogs or material inhibiting spin. Impeller found to be wobbly with black seal erupting on one side. SAND SMOOTH THE SHARP METAL EDGES ON THE HOLE OPENING -very sharp! Emptied water, flipped washer onto back, replaced pump through front opening. I used the original rubber feet on the new pump (better fit). Also replaced the larger inlet spring clamp with a screw type hose clamp. Electrical connector plugs in 180 degrees from original and fit just fine. Exit hose fitting: used personal water soluble lube on o-ring and twisted multiple times to get plastic locks in places. Got it to about 97% fully installed with great effort. Felt secure. In order: installed electrical, exit hose, inlet hose (easy), and rubber foot base. Replace the cap ๐ watch for leaks, do an empty quick mix wash. Very quiet pump. We were so used to a usually noisy pump that we didn't realize it was working and now don't need that extra spin. Yay!

fixed error code
The pump did indeed fix the poor draining error of our original and very old pump but this pump makes more noise than our original one and the electric plug socket would not accept my connector without trimming a little of the "keyed" part of the connector. I believe this was a good value so far. It's been installed for approx 3 weeks and still working.

Totally Bosch compatible.
This company actually took the time to list the compatible Washer units that it works with. Dealer said my washer was to old for a replacement pump and I hate to trash a $1500 washer because it won't pump out fast enough to not throw a code.. This one was a plug and play.. Kinda hard to remove through the front but I got it done.. Very satisfied with the product and the price..

NOT a replacement for the Bosh OEM part #00436440 most Bosh Bosch Vision 500
As many have posted before (and I should have read before buying), this is NOT a replacement for the Bosh OEM part #00436440 which is discontinued. The reason is that the exhaust / output port inside diameter is too small at 28mm instead of 29mm as needed by most Bosh Bosch Vision 500 Series Washer such as my WFVC6450UC. As others also pointed out, don't even try to force the exhaust pipe in, it will not work. Here is the worse news, you will not find the replacement part for it. I searched everywhere on Amazon and outside, and they are all the same new part with 28mm output pipe diameter instead of 29mm. You have no other choice but to keep it and make it work but it is not easy. I bought a 29mm (another $20) drill bit and over-bored the exhaust port, but that is a difficult job. 1- First you need a mounted drill that can hold a 1/2" drill bit. 2- The pump has a very awkward shape so you have to find a way to hold it in place while drilling. 3- You have to be very careful to remain centered as the walls are very thin and donโt go too much on one side and go through 4- Finally make sure you do not go too deep as you will go through again, which I slightly did so it was going to leak, so there goes another $10 of J-B Weld 50139 Plastic Bonder to fix the leak Finally made it work, but there is more suffering on the way such as getting the electrical connector at the back, mounting the rubber legs (use liquid soap) and of course do not cut your fingers in the sharp metal opening putting it all together. After a lot of blood, I made it work, but be prepared to suffer.

Great replacement pump. Saved another appliance from hitting the landfill.
A replacement pump for my washer (Bosch Vision 500 series) is no longer available from the manufacturer. This product is a great replacement. The entire pump can be replaced by working through the filter cleanout hole under the lower front fascia, no need to remove the entire front panel (there is a Youtube video covering the replacement). As others have said, the electrical connector is oriented differently, and the outflow hose is a bit tighter than the original. I lubed both the hose (and o-ring) and pump housing with petroleum jelly and was able to re-seat the hose with some considerable effort. The hose came out easier than it went back in. The most frustrating part of the job is dealing with the spring clamp on the tub drain hose; I ended up replacing it with a gear clamp. Only one load so far, no leaks and working fine.

Worked well!
My 20 year old Bosch Nexxt had been giving me error code E13 for a while after some research the pump was the culprit. I would rather put a bit of money in a machine the will last forever than buy a new one that will last 1 year. This was not that easy to replace I managed to do the whole job through the front hole without moving the machine. There are video on youtube it make it easier to understand. Works good the sound is different but no more errors. The plug is tilted 180 degrees and this pump has a drain tube so this could be handy in the future. This pump is not made by Bosch but it works as it should.

worked perfectly for our Bosch Nexxt 500
Fits and works perfectly for us. Was easy to replace (see youtube for the complete step by step) although there were many little steps to take the door and front panel off. The fit for the outflow was pretty tight. Probably the hardest step was making sure that hose was seated properly. Saved us a ton of money!
