I like it a lot better than my vdv500-123 the vdv500-223 can tone active lines and has a more distinctive tone to pinpoint the line better but if you wanted analog it will tone analog or digital it’s a better value because it does so much more I use my Klein vdv501-770 scout pro max for the tone generator
