Best for making Persian rice, long grain
I have been buying this for quite some time. It makes a great long grain cooked rice. The price a bit high

It's a curly soft rice
We use this rice for every day cooking. My daughter recommended it. I like the fact it is not starchy. There is no need to rinse it more than twice. I found it surprising that the rise grains are sort of curly when they are cooked. It is a soft fluffy rice.

I'll never use another rice
This. This rice. It's the best rice EVER. The flavor is lightly nutty and the aroma is intoxicating. It has replaced all other rice in my home. I even bought a new rice cooker just for it. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to some good rice.

It’s a long grain, but no basmati smell
Long grain, but a very weak grain, smashes easily once cooked - definitely not a Deradhun basmati rice! It’s better than any Pakistan basmati rice!

This rice is not an example of Exceptional Basmati Rice!!!
I expected this Basmati Rice to be fragrant and of a larger grain size. It is neither, has little fragrance and is disappointing in every regard. Since I cannot return it to Amazon I am writing this review to warn others before the get stuck with 10 lbs. or rice they will not like.

I used to eat this in Nigeria. I couldn't find it anywhere in Canada, so happy I found it on Amazon. It is in my opinion the best brand of basmati rice there is
