Excellent supplement!
Cannot do without this supplement. It promotes calmness and focus. I take one with my morning coffee for the best start to the day.

Calm Focus, Pricey but Clean
Not sure if it’s placebo, but L-theanine genuinely makes my workdays feel less stressful. I feel calmer, more level-headed, and like I can handle whatever the day throws at me - it’s effective. That said, Solgar feels expensive for what it is. The quality seems solid, though: a lot of cheaper alternatives have bulking agents, and I don’t often see those in Solgar products. Not sure whether that’s a big deal, but it’s something I appreciate.

Can't recommend these enough
I bought this after reading a lot of very positive reviews here and elsewhere. When it arrived I took 2 capsules and it gave me a headache so I reduced my following doses to just one capsule and haven't had a headache since. The big benefit came when I changed the way I took it. I read online that some people empty the capsule under their tongue and let the powder dissolve there. The amino acid is water soluble and as it dissolves the underside of your tongue absorbs it and it gets into the blood stream much quicker. I tried this and it definitely works better. I feel the effects much faster and the effect of just one capsule is more than enough to keep my anxiety away for 4hours or so. I also don't need to worry about taking it on an empty stomach. I take one before I go to work in the morning and combined with the caffeine in a strong coffee I am focussed, calm and productive. Can't recommend these enough.

actually works to help mellow
Legitimately provides a subtle, yet noticeable, calming effect. Pairs very well with caffeine to provide smooth, jitter-less energy. Lowers anxiety to a noticeable extent for me. A lot of OTC supplements and products out there seem unclear in their effectiveness or worth. Solgar always seems to sell quality goods, and this stuff actually "does something," for me anyway. Definitely will continue to use to help smooth out the day.
