2006 remaster. Review: A Must Have in any Depeche Mode collection - This will be the fourth purchase of this ablum over a 20 year time frame. I still have the lp vinyl, just wore out my 18 year old cd, and picked up the two disc cd/dvd version when I started to look for a replacement. I couldn't find this single cd version in the store at the time I wanted it, and really wanted the one disc version to replace the original CD I had to replace. You'll learn all the words, and it is a good combination of young Depeche Mode and an introduction to older Depeche Mode. All though People Are People was the first song from this album I heard on WLIR on the radio years 20 years ago and ran out to get the ablum, over the years, my favorites have changed to Stories of Old as my favorite song on the album, with Lie to Me, Blasphemous Rumors and Master and Servant as my next favorites. Get this one, you'll love it! Something to Do-cute and catchy Lie to Me-great song People Are People-meaningful, first song I hear from them on this albu It's Doesn't Matter-slow and realistic Stories of Old-my favorite on the album Somebody-slow and senual Master and Servant-very sexy. This song is perfect. After 20 years, I still listen to this song and laugh like the first time I heard it. If You Want -catchy Blasphemous Rumors-very sadistic and dark Review: 180gm black vinyl - 180gm black vinyl. Clean it and play it, sounds amazing. Had this on cassette in 1984, and like most of my cassettes it got worn out. Still have all my vinyl from the 80’s, I now know what the better option was, so happy for this reissue I was not going to pay 100 dollars for a used 110gm 80’s original.

Some Great Reward, I loved
I love it, I have been a Depeche fan for more than 30 years, I have this album on Vinyl, but I wanted to have this one on CD. I bought a DAP and I want to have it in lossless audio and not in MP3. Thank you

Got what you pay for
I got what I paid for a good collection of DM records. There was damage to the package was stated before I bought the items. So I think next time I will shell out the extra 25 for a completely new package. It still looks great with the rest of my DM collection. The records sound great as do the download. It is nice to have the downloaded in one group. The seller was great and upfront so no issues there.

Über das Album selbst braucht man wohl keine Worte mehr zu verlieren da jeder Fan der Band das Album in und auswendig kennen sollte. Widmen wir uns also lieber der neuen Umsetzung des Materials. Auf CD 1 ist das komplette Album zu finden das in einer normalen Stereo Spur vorliegt sowie auch als Multichannel. Wer jetzt noch über einen SACD Player sowie eine höher wertige 5.1 Anlage verfügt, kommt vollends auf seine Kosten. Was das alte Material hergibt ist unglaublich. Sehr lebendige Abmischung die jeden Frequenzbereich sauber und klar wiedergibt. Sounds die man früher höchstens teilweise erahnt hat, haben nun in den Stücken ihren verdienten Platz erhalten. Grandios! Wer keinen SACD Player hat kann sich aber immerhin noch über die CD Spur freuen die jeder herkömmliche Player ebenfalls abspielen kann. Teil 2 dieses wunderschön gestalteten Digipaks beinhaltet eine DVD die das gesamte Album wahlweise in Dolby Digital 5.1 oder DTS erschallen läßt. Beide Abmischungen sind ebenfalls absolut gelungen. Der DTS Track ist aber phasenweise etwas druckvoller. Gewinner bleibt aber die einfach homogener klingende SACD Variante. Zusätzlich befindet sich noch ein kleiner aber feiner Film über die Enstehungsphase des Albums auf der DVD. Schöne Geschichten, nie veröffentlichte Videoaufnahmen und aktuelle Interviews. Das reicht aber immer noch nicht. Es gibt noch Live Material aus Basel und Liverpool von 1984: If you want People are People Somebody Master and Servant If you want Blasphemous rumours Selbstverständlich ebenfalls in Dolby Digital 5.1 oder wahlweise DTS. Natürlich nur tonal, nicht visuell. Abgerundet wird das ganze noch durch diverse B-Seiten aus dieser Zeit die man als Fan aber natürlich schon im Schrank haben sollte.
