Brilliant packaging came with a spatula, thermal paste card to apply, some little plastic shields for all size processors and the paste is of good quality and doing its job well.

This is the first thermal paste I've purchased and used so I haven't got a lot of experience. However I've watched many many videos of big channels like Jaya two cents and gamers nexus apply countless amounts of thermal paste. So having said that this paste is insanely thick it's ridiculously hard to spread and apply especially for a first time user or attempt at reapplying old laptop thermal paste. I actually intended on buying the Corsair thermal paste but accident purchased this one!!. To give the product credit where it's due.. my old laptop does indeed definitely seem to be running a lot cooler and the temps do about to have come down a whopping 10-15c from 90c to 70-75c!!. Therefore if your experienced in applying thermal paste I'd say this is okay to buy.. but if your a noob like me avoid it. On my first four attempts it went everywhere as it got stuck to literally everything after trying to spread it. For me it was an utter nightmare to spread

My HP Omen gaming laptop has been running at 100C on the CPU, and after removing a year's worth of dust (and cat hair) from the fans, nothing improved. The laptop was turning off when the CPU broke 100C thanks to thermal cutoffs, which protected it, but did mean a lot of reboots. It's worth noting this laptop has run games in the 90c+ range since new a year ago. Getting the heatsink and fan assembly out wasn't easy. The heat had caused the screws to be tightly held in place. I ended up stripping the heads of some tiny M2x3mm screws, so had to buy a screw extractor kit and some new screws. Fun times! When I eventually removed the assembly, I used this kit's supplied wipes to clean the CPU and GPU. The 2g syringe of this paste was enough to cover both processors. Some reviews have commented it's hard to spread. Well, I've only done this once before, and this didn't seem any trickier. Watch the supplier's short video and you'll be fine. Try and get it to an even height everywhere, and don't worry about the top surface being mirror-smooth - you're going to attach a large heatsink to it that will flatten it out. Once everything was back together, and after 24 hours of testing, I'm happy to report that under normal load (browser, email) I'm not sitting at 50-60C instead of 60-70C. While gaming, with everything cranked up full in FarCry6, Elder Scrolls Online, and running 3D Mark (DX11 and DX12), I'm peaking at around 83C, and averaging 78C. Great thermal paste, recommended.
