BEST EXTERNAL SSD I'VE EVER USED - First it's too fast, I'm a video editor editing 4k videos, and I don't need to edit the project using my laptop storage, I edit the project directly in this SSD with 2000mbps no delays at all. Editing workflow works fine. Second it's too portable with it's compact size, good for digital nomads. I happen to go on holidays and travel out of country at the same time, do my projects digitally and with this SSD it helps me a lot.

I am very late in writing the review, as I have been using it for more than three years and it works smoothly and excellently.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with this product that I recently purchased from your website. Unfortunately, the product stopped working from the very first use, despite my careful handling and following the instructions as directed. I used this external drive to back up all my data, but the next day it didn't work at all. When I checked the file size, it showed that it was empty even though it had almost 1TB of data from the backup. I have already tried reaching out to the seller, but I have received no response yet. Under these circumstances, I would like to request a return of the product and a refund of my payment as soon as possible. As per my expectation, the product should have provided me with reliable and long-term use which it clearly failed to do so. I am concerned about the quality of the product and hope that necessary measures will be taken to ensure that customers do not face similar issues in the future. I will appreciate your prompt attention to this matter. Thank you for your understanding, and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

I just wanted to update my review for this product. 3years ago (year 2022) I bought this product to store movie files. Look it is now 2025 and it still works really really well! kudos! Old comment: the product says to arrived on Wednesday, but I received it Tuesday. Good thing! At first I was afraid of buying expensive items from amazon bcoz of quality issues, but my mind changed when I got this product in a good condition. I am using this now to backup my laptop files and documents. It copies 232GB very fast. amazing! I could have bought 4TB in much lesser price, but I never had regret it at all! :)

Przetestowana prędkość to 1012 MB/s odczyt, 1019 MB/s zapis, a więc prawie 2 razy mniej niż w specyfikacji. Sprawdzone na oryginalnym kablu i innym 40GB/s. Wersje Extreme, sporo tańsza, ma niewiele mniejszą prędkość (777 i 958), bliższą podawanej w opisie.

The SanDisk Extreme PRO Portable SSD delivers excellent performance and is one of the fastest portable drives I’ve used. Haven't had many chances to test the capabilities of the SSD, but, so far its performance is quite impressive. Turning on its encryption was also straightforward. I heard many news in the past if its data integrity issues but I hope SanDisk has fixed it and it wouldn't happen down the road.

I can say from my experience that this SSD is a top-notch external storage solution that delivers lightning-fast read and write speeds.
