Have got into scale models, this is a key piece of kit for anyone getting into it. Has saved the kitchen table several times which my fiance is happy about though she has banished me from modelling in the kitchen

Good mat particularly good for miniatures painting and assembly, pretty good for the price but would've liked the mat to be a bit thicker, an extra 2mm and it could achieve 5 stars.

I like this self-healing cutting mat/board as it does exactly what it say it does. The self-healing feature is quite amazing plus keeps the actual cutting area surface smooth and free of marks which is handy if you use it quite often as I do on assorted projects. The well defined grid lines work well and make it very easy to set up and the non-slip surface makes for precise cutting. It seems quite durable so far and offers good value as I am very impressed with it. I would recommend it for either hobbyists and crafters in general.
