Review: Exactly what I needed! - This lamp is awesome! Sure, it was a little weird to get a light fixture in a flat box, but it really did go together easily and once it was hung you can't even tell that the shade ever came off. We recently moved into a new house and none of the bedrooms have ceiling fixtures - just outlets that are controlled by wall switches. This lamp is perfect for giving the effect of a ceiling fixture with minimal effort. There is a nice amount of light cast around the room, but the shade filters it just enough that it's pleasant. So many of the plug-in fixtures that I saw were just plain glass globes and I was worried that the light would be too harsh for my baby's room. The shade on this allows the light to reach the whole room, but filters it enough to be very pleasant. Plus it is a nice, neutral color and design so that we can keep using it regardless of how we might decide to re-decorate the room in the future. Overall, I highly recommend this lamp if you're looking for a cheaper, easier alternative to hard-wiring a ceiling fixture!
Review: Just as described - I've read many reviews and so wanted to address some of the complaints. The light is small, but in the description it states that the diameter is 12". My table is small so I thought it would still work fine. Also, for those who had different sized hoops for top and bottom...mine were the same size so I would think you could return the item if that were the case. I also noticed in some of the pictures that others posted that they installed the top hoop that holds the light, upside down. It should all be contained within the shade. If installed upside down, the nut that fastens the socket to the hoop will not sit flat and therefore will not have a solid connection. There are 5 clips that hold the shade to the hoops and velcro to hold the shade tight. For me, it was a perfect fit. I clipped both hoops on and had to pull it very tightly and fasten the velcro. It left a very smooth tight finish. It literally took me 5 minutes to put together without looking at instructions. For those who say it is a cheap lamp....yes, it is cheap, that's why I bought it. But I think it looks beautiful and is exactly what I needed to fill the space.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exactly what I needed!

This lamp is awesome! Sure, it was a little weird to get a light fixture in a flat box, but it really did go together easily and once it was hung you can't even tell that the shade ever came off. I've read many reviews and so wanted to address some of the complaints. The light is small, but in the description it states that the diameter is 12". My table is small so I thought it would still work fine. Also, for those who had different sized hoops for top and bottom...mine were the same size so I would think you could return the item if that were the case. I also noticed in some of the pictures that others posted that they installed the top hoop that holds the light, upside down. It should all be contained within the shade. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Short term fix for the price

Overall: 1. The lamp comes rolled up. You use clips to clip the shade onto the thin bars that give it the circular shape and then velcro holds the two ends together. Overall it has help up and was pretty easy to put together. The seam doesn't stand out too badly, especially not for this price. 2. I'm glad I got lights where I needed them and the shades themselves look nice, but I also kind of wish I had just waited and spent a little bit more to get rid of the cord hooks and remote. That may not apply to you and how the cord will flow, or if you even care how the ceiling hooks look. Good: 1. Although I don't see myself keeping them long term, it was a relatively quick and easy fix, especially if you aren't very particular about how the cord hangs or where the on/off button is. 2. The shade is a nice color and looks nice when looking across the room. Issues: 1. This may or may not be beneficial to you but the location of the on/off button is just over 4 feet away from the plug. So there is approximately 11 feet between the on/off button and the light. In my situation, i have it the cord hanging down the wall and over to the plug, with a few feet of extra cord on the floor. To get the on/off button at a decent height, I'd need to pull it up- stick it to the wall (sticky things not included) and then the cord would to back down to the plug. If you have taller ceilings it may not be an issue. 2. Due to #1 above and overall placement, I have now purchased self-adhesive cable clips and a remote control for the lights. That's money that I could have just put into a different lamp. 3. Not a huge fan of how the hooks in the ceiling work- the cord easily pulls on them. It definitely took some finagling to get it decent enough appearing. The real trick came into how to make two of them even when you had to play around with the ceiling hooks and the clips to keep them in place on the hooks (they call the the cord clips).
