We always have this requirement. I work in a variety of temperature controlled environments. I have put on our required mace mask and tested these by leaving them out in the heat, putting them in the freezer, going from a hot to cold place and vice versa in both circumstances. My biggest test was going from cold and dry to hot and humid and they held up. There will ALWAYS be some fog but these cleared in seconds. The bifocal range is perfect for me since the magnifying area doesn't interfere with my normal far vision range, but if I need to look at a piece of paperwork, the glance downwards transitions well. If you need to tip your head back to look through the magnified area, you need to get prescription safety glasses. The glasses have two major design flaws - 1) The bifocals are cut too far down the lenses.
