One of them arrived with a broken corner
The seem to be okay, I've used one and it works as expected. I gave it a 5 star rating because the product appears to be good and didn't see a reason to knock the rating for a broken piece which was like due to the shipper. I will try and contact the seller or Amazon and see about a replacement, I just put some super glue on it a moment ago and see but, I doubt it will hold up to MAPP and probably not butane torch. Shipping was fast and I believe the honeycomb will work well.

Very Useful
Excellent for holding small pieces steady for soldering. Get the stainless steel posts, they work better than T-pins.

It's great but the website could describe the size of the holes since this is the only thing that is negative. A pin does not fit unless you use 30g

Inconnsistency pic vs reality
The pic doesn’t translate the reality. They are much smaller.

Vary good quality
When they shipped them in a reinforced envelop but it was Bendable and both units broke. I called Amazon and told them what had happened and they shipped replacements in a box. They work very good for soldering. I layed the solder iron on it thinking I'll picked up right away but got sidetracked left it there for 10 minutes or more. Not a mark on the plate. If I could put ten stars I would fill them in .

These are very nice, I use them on top of my turntable. Very helpful.

Good flat surface and nothing sticks to it
Previously, I did jewelry soldering on titanium pads (silver solder does not attach to titanium) but those were worping under uneven heat making it difficalt to find a flat surface especially when I do filigree. These ceramics pads stay flat and work great for me. I read reviews when people complain that they cannot remove items from the pad without damaging the pad after soldering. It is likely those items get glued to the pad by melted flux. Just heat the item with the torch again until flux residue melts and remove the item from the pad with tweezers without damaging it. I would recommend this product.
