Yes, you’re gonna hate yourself while you do it. Hopefully you have tiny hands. But the finished product is sweeeeet!!! Only complaint is console obv still recognizes it as the stock colors, but not a big deal. Love this!

Bought the GB DMG 01 shell and arrived on time. Thrilled to get this installed. However, when I was about done.. I noticed that the nub on the back cover where you screw the rails has a bigger hole than the screw. In turn I couldn't screw the rails to the back cover securely. Although I was able to put it together with no screw on the rail to the back cover, unfortunately, it is a bit wobbly when attached to the console. I don't want to take the chance and leave a loose screw inside and potentially cause problems down the road. Looks like a manufacturing flaw because both left and right joycons have this issue on the same spot. I only took images of the left joycon. The one of the right is the original shell while the left is the replacement shell. You can clearly see the difference. Hopefully you can fix this problem for future customers.Because of this reason I give it a 3. This small design flaw had impacted my experience with the product. However, I love the design, feel and build quality. BTW, i was hoping you can have an NES themed shell like the last image. If you can get it done, it's game over. Update**** The seller reached out to me regarding the issue and was prompt in resolving my concern. Happy of the outcome and color combo.

Vom rein Optischen her sind die Hüllen ein absoluter Hingucker, das Flip Flop Design ist wunderschön, die Farbkombination erinnert mich immer an einen Sonnauf- oder Untergang. An sich sind die Teile auch alle hochwertig verarbeitet und passen perfekt ineinander. Was allerdings anzumerken ist, für die Installation sollte Gedult und etwas Fingerspitzengefühl mitgebracht werden. Auch ein gutes allgemein Verständnis dafür Dinge auseinander und zusammenzubauen. Es sind viele kleine Teile bei dem Set und die JoyCons auseinanderzubauen würde ich nicht Jedermann empfehlen. Deshalb falls soetwas nicht gerade eure Stärke sein sollte, übergebt die Arbeit lieber jemand anderes. Mir persönlich hat es sehr viel Spaß gemacht, die Cons umzubauen. Ich werde in Zukunft mir auch noch andere Modelle davon bestellen.
