Review: I live in NYC. The tap water here is pretty clean. I use these filters to help remove the chlorine taste in the tap water. These filters last about 10 weeks with heavy use for a household of 5 before I need to replace the filter. These also worked pretty good when there's work on the waterline mains which kicks up a lot of rust and sediments in the pipe turning the water coming into the house brownish. The filter pretty much removes the brownish color and the rust/metallic taste out of the water.

A: I have only used the Waterdrop filters as I believe that was the best
way for the filter to work.

**Q: Where are they manufactured?**
A: I believe that they are manufactured in California.

**Q: Does it remove lead?**
A: Thats a very good question. IDK, water does taste deference. So far no metallic taste to it (had over 6 months). That would a question for a manufacturer.

I like these They defintely eliminate chlorine smell from tap. Not sure how effective it is for anything else. Easy to install takes one minute
