Doesn’t handle thick gauge
Works good but doesn’t handle thick metal well on 28 gauge and 30 gauge use,anything thing else it gets dull over a period of time.

Best snips as a Heat and Frost insulator. I’ve tried them all. Wiss, Malco, Bessey, Klenk, Lenox, Milwaukee, Klein, you name it. Midwest is miles better than anything out there. As for the quality and longevity of sharpness, I still use the exact same Midwest red offsets that I started with day one, 8 years later of daily use cutting stainless steel banding all day every day. IIf you like these, you’ll love the Midwest long nose blue snips!

I've been working metal for 25 years. My first set of snips were Midwest and they lasted me 12 years. 2nd set was Klien and they lasted me 12 years. Both are good options, prices are almost identical. If you want professional grade snips, these are what you want.
