I have one it does work, it is settle. **Q: I have an imac then the purifier 3 then my dac (pro-ject s2). the purifier gets hot and no music is played. what shall i do?** A: That is not normal ,don’t use it **Q: Is proper set up to plug into pc or dac?** A: Place the iPurifier between the computer (storage device) and the DAC. Link with cables to take off the physical stress on the connector. If you use ITunes, get BitPerfect program ($10) from the ITunes to pre-process/clean up your signal before it leaves your computer. The iPurifier works better when it does not have to clean up the noise your computer and iTunes adds to the music.
