The best bandaid
My favorite bandaid because they last for several days ans are waterproof, they stick completely and blow regular bandaid awaty...I'm pretty particular because I used to be a nurse and only use these or hyrdracoldale for blisters.

A revolutionary, near-perfect adhesive bandage.
First let me say that I work as a meat cutter & I have vinyl gloves going on & off my hands all day long. I also wash my hands 30 -40 times in a work day. Regular adhesive bandages get caught on the vinyl gloves and their edges roll up, the bandage gets soiled & looks like hell, and they loosen up quickly when I wash my hands. All of these problems disappear when I use this product, which I have now for 6 months or so prior to this review. I am also prone to getting "finger splits" in cold weather, and these have proved to be invaluable to keeping these covered and promote healing. The adhesive part of the strip is no thicker than a single layer of skin yet has a stronger adhesive that a regular self-stick bandage. It is absolutely waterproof and can be worn for up to 3 days before it needs changing. Because the adhesive membrane is so thin, it actually contours itself INTO the creases of your skin making for a complete, water tight seal. You will waste a few bandages while you get the knack of applying this unique product, but it's worth it. Applying these to most areas of the body is effortless and creates a smooth waterproof seal. It does get tricky around the fingertips, and I find (in my unique situation) that small openings in unsealed creases create openings in the bandage that let water in, requiring me to use 2/day. Still, they serve me well protecting skin splits on my fingertips, reducing pain and speeding up the process of the splits closing and healing. Only when water gets under the bandage does the adhesive loosen on its own. Another bonus is that the bandage doesn't leave adhesive residue on your skin (fingernails will have residue left behind, but it is easily removed). If you're like me, then you hate the sight of dirty adhesive residue left behind by regular adhesive bandages that is difficult to remove. Another nice thing is that the adhesive portion is completely clear so that all that's seen is the beige pad of the bandage. I use these frequently, so I was very happy to find that I can buy a 4-pack of assorted sizes at a great savings over buying a single box of a smaller quantity assortment in a regular store. I sorted them all by size and marked each of 3 boxes so that I can quickly select the size I need without having to sort through an entire package. This also lets me know when I'm getting low on a particular size. My only wish is that these were available to purchase in individual sizes as I use the smallest the most. I believe that this product is a revolutionary to adhesive bandages as Band-Aid brand was when it first came out. An outstanding product that I highly recommend.

The best bandaids for barbers/cosmetologists! They stay on all day & are waterproof! I have these on repeat order, for my shop!

All the right positives compared to Band-Aid
When I was ready to buy a new box of bandages I didn't give it a second thought. Of course I would buy Johnson & Johnson Band-Aids just like I always have, and my parents before me, and my grandparents before them. I had tried other brands in the past in an "emergency" and they were next to useless so I have always stuck with the leading brand. I was ready to push the "order" button this time but my eye caught this product from Nexcare. Never heard of them. But I saw that they are made by 3M. Who in the world knows more about adhesives (Scotch tape, Post-it Notes, etc) than 3M? So I figured what could it hurt and changed my order to a box of 100 assorted bandages in the most common sizes. I'm impressed. Unlike everyone else who simply tried to copy Band-Aid, Nexcare pretty much reinvented the bandage. To begin with, it's not the typical shape but more of a diamond shape with rounded corners. The corners don't catch on clothing and other things like the squared-off edges of other bandages and the diamond shape is far more forgiving around areas that aren't flat like knuckles, wrists, toes, etc (doesn't it seem that bandages are never needed on flat, smooth expanses of skin?) There's another major difference as well. Most bandages leave a gap along the sides where water and other stuff can get to the wound. Nexcare surrounds the entire wound and seals in in against water and foreign objects, yet the material breathes and allows healing air to penetrate. Leave it to 3M to come up with that magic. One independent study showed that Nexcare leaked about 25 percent of the time while Band-Aid about 40 percent of the time, compared with more than 85 percent for lower-rated products. I can't count how often I've been disappointed by so-called waterproof bandages that peel off as soon as they get wet. Not so with the Nexcare product, it really sticks like glue but yet is ouchless when peeled off, even on hairy arms and legs. Another plus is that they do NOT contain latex. Bandages are something no one wears by choice and frankly this box of 100 will probably last me for years, so 3M isn't going to get rich off me. They are priced competitively but it doesn’t hurt that Amazon often has them on sale. Are they perfect? I can’t find any major faults with the bandages themselves but I do have one suggestion which is rather than toss all of the three sizes into the box randomly it would be nice if they put some sort of cardboard dividers to separate the sizes to make them easier to find when you don’t have a lot of time to fuss around looking for a bandage. I know this review is pretty enthusiastic about something as basic as a bandage but I do like these and now that I've tried them I think they're a big improvement from what I've been using till now.

Definitely waterproof, and mostly good bandaids - but they can hurt your skin if you aren't careful
A clear bandaid that isn't actually that weird milky color? The clear part is totally clear. A waterproof bandaid that actually IS waterproof? Well, yes, that's true. VERY waterproof. The smaller ones stick better for longer than the larger ones. And they will all stick for a LONG time. In my experience (I've been using these for about a decade), if you forget about them, or for some other reason just don't take them off after about twelve hours max, then they are going to irritate your skin. The littlest ones are REALLY bad about this. I got a scar from the irritation caused by one of the little ones I left on too long. Vicious little things. But they are very much waterproof and really do hang on tight. The little pad thing on these is still that stupid "beige" color that doesn't really match hardly anybody's skin, but fortunately, it's smaller on these than on a lot of bandaids, so it doesn't stand out quite as bad against your skin if you aren't whatever on earth that color is supposed to be. (On my ghost-white self, the color looks like a little burn scar or something. My black son, he's young enough that I'm still avoiding these white people-y things entirely and sticking to the superhero bandaids ... but these will still probably be better than a lot of other bandaids, I guess? I know on me, anyway, being paler than bandaids all seem to assume everyone is, these work better than most because so much of it is completely clear.) So if you have sensitive skin, proceed with caution. Evil small size ... But these do live up to their claims, and they definitely serve a purpose. I have been using these a very long time, and I'm still buying them constantly.

ULTIMATE NEXCARE TEST (level: extreme)
This is my second time using these bandaids. First time was in 2023, when I had a surgical incision healing on my cheek (not my face). Doc said it needed to be completely free of all bacteria and possibility of infection aka no soaking, no weird soaps, or fragrances etc. It kept up well but it did hurt to peel off. 2nd time using (2024) was for an ingrown hair that ruptured & had to be covered for healing. It started healing immediately so I didn’t use them much on my underarm. I used them for completely different purpose. I’m a small woman so I don’t wear bras because my b’s/t’s were covered with bandaids as I do this regularly with any other bandaid brand. Long story short I accidentally wore the same bandaids on my nips for 72 hours (to be fair they are true to the ad: see through/transparent minus the little gauze part). So they blended into my skin and I didn’t even notice it. Wore it under a white dress for my ceremony & wasn’t even noticeable at all (the dress was also transparentish). I have showered, loofae’d, scrubbed & dubbed my body in the shower even with exfoliating gloves and THIS BANDAID DID NOT EVEN CURL, SLIP, OR RIP OFF. I have drenched it and literally took an exfoliating gloVe straight to it and it didn’t budge. Now I’m concerned on how I’m gonna get them off, but my husband will have fun w that hahaha. 5/5 didn’t disappoint, CAN BE MULTI PURPOSE APPARENTLY & SUPER WATERPROOF. When I took them off last time the under part of what the bandage covered was completely dry and not moist at all. My skin wasn’t discolored or anything. I don’t think i’ll ever buy regular bandaids AGAIN. I’m also rlly high writing this right now so this is wnHONEST AND TRUE REVIEW. I WAS NOT PAID FOR THIS BUT DOESNT MEAN A LITTLE SPONSERSHIP COULDNT HELP ;) !!!! 10/10 would recommend

Buy this!
These are very good. Retired ER RN and I would buy these over and over. They seal all the way around to keep the wound moist and heal faster. Definitely keeps water out.

I’m buying my second box in a year because these are my bandages now.
I recently finished off the box of these I bought less than a year ago, and am happily ordering more. Six months ago, I cut myself and severed a tendon in my hand. That entailed 14 stitches and then surgery to reattach the tendon and these were what I used the entire time. I won’t repeat what others have said, but wanted to explain how they worked for me. I’m a big believer in applying bandages and then leaving them the heck alone. (I apply creams and ointments, specifically ones with colloidal silver, before putting the bandage on.) Several times, I left the bandage on for two days straight, but twice I managed to leave one on for three days. In the rare event they get wet, I’ll change ‘em.(They CAN get wet if you manage to peel an edge up, like when you rub one against something, but it’s not easy because these bandages are VERY thin, almost like a piece of skin.) They can be a little tricky to remove because of that thinness; it can be difficult to peel an edge up to get a grip so you can remove them, but I’m certainly not going to complain about them doing their jobs TOO well! My ordeal was frightening and very painful, but I healed quickly and well because these things kept my wound covered and protected so that when I banged my hand on things (I tend to be scatterbrained and not paying attention to what my extremities are doing, so that happened fairly often, unfortunately). They kept me from reopening the wound, and the creams I applied stayed where I’d put them and dirt never got into my wound. Like another reviewer, I, too, react badly to adhesives (my skin turns red and gets crazy-itchy, hot, and gets welts (or hives, maybe?), yet these don’t bother me in the slightest. It’s the opposite, actually, in that they keep my wounds clean and dry, with absolutely NO reaction to the adhesive at all. Having gotten me through that little adventure with a minimum of fuss, these things are now my bandages for the rest of my life. I can’t imagine anyone improving on them.
