Exceptional Product; Good Price; Would (and Regularly Do) Buy Again; Excellent size
Exceptional for when I am making Cedar Plank Grilled Salmon. The size and thickness is perfect. They hold up under charcoal grilling (after the obvious 1hr pre-soak) well enough that I can still use the plank to lift them from the grill and onto a transfer plater. While they are not nearly as thick and "premium" feeling as the expensive ones at my local fish market, they do an excellent job of the task they are intended for. I have been buying these for years. I bought another brand once when they were out of stock. I would not make that mistake again. Frankly, I will just wait for them to come back in stock next time.

Excellent value—third order!
I use these for grilling salmon on my Weber gas grill. They absolutely do the trick, every bit as well as the more expensive ones found two to a package at the store, for far less cost. Quality is perfect. This is my third order in 5 years. Very satisfied. The MOST important thing to know: soak the planks so they are wet throughout. I usually put them in water a couple of hours before hand. If you don’t, you’ll wind up with the planks on fire and your food burned black. Each plank easily holds two 1-1/2” filets side by side. A little olive oil, some fresh rosemary and a dusting of coarse sea salt does the trick. Preheat grill to 450. On a three-burner grill, turn the middle burner off (or waaaay down), put the planked salmon in the middle and turn the two side burners to just above medium. 12-15 minutes but keep an eye on it. Thicker cuts might take a bit more to cook all the way thru, though some might like it a bit pink in the middle. Enjoy!

These are excellent cedar planks and using them on your gas grill most definitely enhances the flavor and tenderness of meat, poultry, and fish. We use the planks with a plank saver, available on Amazon ... so the planks never catch fire. I've heard you can re-use the planks if they are not badly damaged from the fire, but we haven't done so yet. Be sure to thoroughly clean them if you do. Last night we had marinated chicken breasts .. cooked on the cedar planks with the hickory smoker going on our Weber gas grill. Wow ... amazing.

Decent value
I use a lot of these planks and the price of the bulk 30 pack was attractive. They were as advertised and there were no broken planks. They do the job but are thinner than I would prefer.

Good Value
Decent quality, inexpensive and sized right for two pieces of salmon. I've seen some negative comments but it's a use once throw it away plank what can one expect. I have not found any splinters in any of mine and I've re-ordered these at least 3 times. Are they beautiful? No. If you want to make a nice presentation slide the food off onto a nice plate :-)

Love cooking on the grill with Cedar Planks
I can't encourage grillers enough to start using Cedar planks when grilling fish, chicken and even meat. We have been using Cedar for 10 years and the flavor imparted on Salmon is out of this world. We used to buy 10 plank packages at our grocery store and paid a fortune. This purchase is a great bargain. The planks are solid and the prefect size to filets.
