I bought this pan to make my own pool side fire pit table. The pan was packaged very well with ample cushion and arrived without damage. When I unboxed it, I was surprised at the quality. This pan is heavy duty! It came with all gas lines, the electric igniter,, a valve to adjust the flame,, AND the adapter to hook it up to propane, which mixes the air for a clean burn. The installation process was a breeze.. The only flaw I found, which is not a big deal for myself is that the instructions did not include how to hook up the igniter. I am pretty handy and was able to make sense of it. Overall this was a quality purchase that I will now be able to enjoy for a long time to come!

The burner was delivered quickly and is very sturdy. It was relatively easy to install but I didn’t give it 5 stars because the instructions are minimal. Mine came with all the fittings loosely attached, one of which is an air mixer that’s necessary for propane. It was attached upside down but the instructions didn’t say how it needed to go so I initially installed it the same way it came. This produced a very low flame, quite a bit of propane noise and some propane left in the burner when I shut off the valve. I went to YouTube and found an excellent video that clearly showed how to install it (not from the manufacturer). I flipped the air mixer and it works great! If you purchase this and use it for propane, be sure the arrow on the air mixer points in the direction of the gas flow. Other than that little issue, it is easy to install and works great. I highly recommend it!

Here at the city headquarters it was time to install some glass rocks in the trusty fire pit. So, I bought some glass fire rock and started removing the old volcanic rock and crumbling fire logs. Turns out my trusty fire pit was in reality a rusty fire pit and needed a new pan. This was the ticket. My wife and I tore the old one apart and using what was left of the pan marked the holes we needed to drill in order to match the mounting holes. That stainless steel is tough. Good thing I had some mustard for the drill bits.this was the only modification I had to make. The valve mounting bracket wasn't an exact fit but it worked just fine for me. I took some small jack chain and a couple of key rings and made a valve key keeper so it is right where I need it. The pit looks better than new and we are extremely pleased. Fit perfectly in the opening and looks and works fantastic.

Finished construction of our fire pit table. Easy assembly & perfect addition to our patio, when the weather gets cooler. Overall height is 24" with rollers. Used 3/4" Melamine for top, 2"x3" frame, Hardie board to enclose frame. Needed 30 lbs of large Fire Glass for best coverage of fire rings, plan to add 18"x18"x6" wind guard.

I have made a few custom fireplaces, all using the same type of fire insert from another maker. That maker was sold out so I tried this brand and I will never again. To begin, the package arrived in great shape, so the issues with the fire insert are not to be blamed on the shipping or handling. This make went went a much lower quality external on and off valve. While others use a stainless steel key, this brand uses a very cheap knob you would see on a low end bbq grill. It feels cheap and I doubt it lasts for one season. But that is about the best part of the unit. The automatic striker is horrible. The holes for installation in the insert are slightly misaligned so be prepared to drill new holes. And worse yet, the push button actuator for flame ignition is malfunctioning. So as soon as you insert the battery and screw on the push button, it starts to engage. The only way to stop the push button from engaging is to twist it nearly off, which looks horrible. Like I said, I have built these before with one other company’s insert and will wait until they are back in stock. Lastly, the plumbing used for this unit seems restricted. The flame is 1/2 that of the other brand I use. This is an expensive unit, there is no value for the money. Take my advise, purchase this from a different maker or you will be very disappointed. I do not know if I can list a more reputable maker on this so I won’t, but whatever you do, do not purchase this unit even if it is a few dollars cheaper.

This burner works much, much better than our previous, which was only about 3 years old - which never worked as fantastic as this new burner works. If you want something very sturdy, seemingly well built, and a nice even clean burning flame (we have the Propane model), then you can't go wrong with this unit. There's only two negatives, which for us would have made this a 5 star review instead of 3 stars. 1. The instructions were vague and unclear, but since I already knew enough about working with gas lines, etc., it didn't matter too much. 2. The "electronic igniter" unit itself has a flimsy button, that wouldn't even work out of the box, and it never produced a spark of any kind - although it is fully connected properly according to their (otherwise vague) instructions. Other than that, this is a very solid, well working unit.

Great bit of kit! Running it on propane and it gives off excellent amount of heat. Installed it on a table I made to give it that wow factor. Build quality is very good, the only thing I would say is that if you are buying from the UK to purchase a uk propane regulator.

Great product but regulator seem to be cheap and not working properly! Spoke to representative and they gave me a credit for this !
