This cursive handwriting practice workbook is for teens in the following ways: The phrases and sentences are written for a teenage audience. The font size is smaller than workbooks designed for kids. The blank lines are narrower than workbooks designed for kids. Most pages aren't designed to be traced prior to copying. There is just a quick refresher of basic letter and words practice. A challenge chapter includes visual exercises. The last chapter includes writing prompts. For teens who need more basic handwriting practice (which is common, since cursive handwriting is disappearing from many schools' curricula), Julie Harper also has a more basic cursive handwriting workbook for teens: Cursive Handwriting Practice Workbook for Teens (ISBN 1492230235). Teens enjoy writing sentences like, " Set your alarm to play your favorite song ," and, " Dancing is contagious. Catch it and have fun ." Exercises like these help to make learning fun, even at home. This unique teenage handwriting workbook provides teens who need to improve their cursive writing fluency a chance to do it with a more age appropriate workbook. This workbook focuses on writing phrases and sentences in cursive in seven parts: Quick letter review Letter blends (like "br" or "wh") Copy sentences Copy paragraphs Visual challenge Rewrite print in cursive (includes answer key) Creative writing prompts May your students or teenagers improve their handwriting skills and enjoy reading and writing these phrases and sentences. Review: Great cursive book for middle schoolers - Very nice book. We are using it daily and it has been good practice for my middle schooler. The font is lovely but not hard. The book is well done. Review: Excellent resource for teaching cursive!! - Bought for a 13 yr old in 8th grader that has never been taught cursive writing and asked me how to make upper case L in cursive so could sign last name! Cursive/penmanship is a lost art in todays schools. Grandparent

Great addition to son's curriculum
My son hates it, but all kids should learn cursive. It would be better if it had activities in it instead of just straight practice pages.

Cursive, a lost art
My son had some less-than-stellar grades the past school year. And with the digital age, handwriting is nearly extinct as part of school curriculum. So we decided that since he would be doing some Summer "home extra credit", handwriting practice was a perfect way for him to spend an hour of each day. I'm happy. He's happy. And I can now read his handwriting! Win. Win. Win.

My daughter isn't a fan.
I bought this one because the reviews for the younger one were not great. I don't love this book, and my tween won't use it. I am a bit disappointed, but the concept and overall function of the book is good. It also is a good quality book and the sentences would be appropriate for a tween or young teen.

Excellent
Growing up nobody around me knew how to write cursive so I had to teach myself, I bought this book to help me fix my writing as it never truly looked right to me. After a few days of practicing my writing already looks better. 10/10 would buy it again

Love this for my daughter
Love this for my daughter! She hasn't had cursive instruction since grade school. Great for teens to brush up and improve!

Great book!
Great book! Lots of practice to teach my teenaged son cursive. It's appalling that the school system stopped teaching this necessary skill.

Great book for tweens and teens to practice cursive.
Great for kids practicing cursive who already have the basics down and do not need lined and dotted paper as a guide. My twelve year old zipped through a basic cursive intro booklet and then easily switched to this for daily practice. He loves cursive now!

Nicely laid out ... very much a teen/adult level cursive book.
Honestly, happy to have a workbook for teens! As schools do not teach cursive any longer, I am bound and determined my daughter will not go into high school printing!!
