Coming from a family with lacking self confidence this book really helped! Lots of good information on increasing your confidence. I recommend it!

I am a mental health counselor. One of my patients pointed this book out to me, saying how much it had helped him, he had turned to it again and again over the years and he always experienced growth. This Self-help style book is really a gem, especially for anyone who will put in the effort to become more certain of themself and more confident. Not only are ideas well explained, but there is guidance about how to put your new skills into action. It's also an "easy read," the concepts are explained so well they will make sense right away. For those who know about this, I would say the approach of the book is the same as CBT, or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, a term used by counseling professionals to denote an improved understanding of how your thoughts affect your behaviors and attitudes every day, and how changing our thoughts can change our lives. Wonderful book.

Brilliant. I have read it and read it again. Reading this book will not change your life. Taking in the teachings and applying them to your own life will transform you! Most influential book of my life since 'The Magic'. Not what I was expecting at all. Not just about confidence but your entire well-being, would recommend to everyone.
