It effectively attracts male clothes moths. They stick to the surface and die. It is very convenient and easy to use. Understand that these traps are a significant tool for ridding ones home of a clothes moth infestation. However, traps (any brand) are unlikely to do the trick completely on their own. Moths go through a complex life cycle including eggs, larvae etc. Use the traps when you first suspect an infestation. If you have a significant infestation, the moths will begin flying around as soon as you unwrap the very first hormone trap. This will tell you that you have a problem. The next step is to completely empty the closets, shake out all clothes outside, and then keep all wool clothes (including blends) wrapped in plastic garment bags. Importantly, then thoroughly vacuum your closets and use vinegar to wipe the baseboards of your closets.
