Plug and play, just add screws to secure it.
I should have just gotten one of these adapters from the beginning, instead of doing a custom wiring job on my truck to add in the 7 round receptacle. Only downside is that the cables coming off the ends are super short, so you'll want to get a small 4 pin extension cable if you're bolting this to the trailer like I did.

The Euro to US converter just works Perfectly 7 to 7 pin and 4 pin US to 7 pin Euro—works as well Perfectly. Im using Test Box to simulate Trailer -everything came in just wana shoot video quickly before i forget...

Incorrect Wiring
This item does not work as intended. I used a voltage meter to check each connection and found that the right tail light did not work. I opened the cover and noticed that there is a missing connection for the brake light and that the ground wire color is wrong.
