We were putting in a new radio and decided to add a camera. We picked this one based on reviews. Installation was easy, black wire to ground, red wire to the backup lights, RCA plug to the radio. If you wired the red to an ignition hot you could use the camera whenever the truck was on. We took the easy way. Maybe rewire in the spring so we can see what's on the trailer when we tow.Adding a 1 month follow. Everything is good, no issues. I did learn on installation the camera can mirror. This can be used in front with no issues. If in the rear it will mirror, left is right, right is left.
