I like these nibs, and the erasers they provide with them are good. I’m unsure of other styles of masking pens that exist. But I think the quality of these pens are nice for the price you pay. I will comment that one of the pens I received was bent close, it is an easy fix though. Just run something thin into it like a butter knife and bend it slightly. The nib end should always be open to allow masking fluid to flow. I made a video in hopes it would help others who ran into this issue.

They are cheep made I used supper glue to the stem.After that they work well

... and I love the gummy eraser that comes with them. I purchased this set about four years ago, and have generally favored the smallest one for my uses. Over time the screws have bent or disappeared, and the masking fluid has gotten embedded enough to be difficult to clean. Still better, to me, than using a brush. I'm back for another set, and I have no complaints at this price and considering my use. Lay paint. Mask areas. Spatter stars. Heal soul.

These are made for precisely ruling ink lines in drafting applications. I got them for applying making liquid for watercolor painting. I suppose if I was taught how by someone I might have been able to make it work better but I didn’t seem to be able to place small dots and lines like I could with the bevel edge of an old brush handle. Larger areas were impossible. So I’m going back to using a brush with soap and washing it out right away. I also found a little plastic squeeze bottle with a tiny metal tip that works really well for precise application like dots or squiggles. You slide a pin down the tube at the tip to seal it and keep the tube clear.
